this is the final ides for 1 of the building I have sketch out. I start of by looking up all different types of game building environment and start to sketch them out and add my own ideas in to it for this design I look up a game call warhammer 40000 and the buildings in the game to help me.

VFX or story

story telling is the most important aspect of a movie then VFX because a films is based on telling story VFXreally don't matter all that much. if the movie has great acting and story and a good plot. people will often over look the VFX. The use of visual effects doesn't guarantee a successful film, but it's clear that the public has a taste for VFX in general and digital imagery in particular.

start to draws and sketch out some ideas for the futuristic buildings

my 3d animation storyboard. my ideas is start off a character walking slowly across the road and got hit by a car. I start off with animating very basic walk cycle first before I animating other thing. Once the walking cycle finish the next part is to animating 4 car going in hight speed in the road. the final scene will be him getting hit by the last car at the end. I will use only one camera angles for this.

3D Animation Evaluation

3D AnimationEvaluation

For the past 5 week I been working on a short 3D animationclip my idea of my 3D animation is a guy walking and get hit by a cars. I chose to go with very basic animation because is my first of animating something in Maya.

What went well on this 3D animation project for me is that the final product looked very good as I want it to be. At the start of the project I have start to do some research about the 3D animation what is animation and different types of 3d animation work they all work and star to up with some idea for me 3d animation, plan what I have do for each week .

Thing that didn’t went well for me is that I can’t render my 3D animation in Maya the program is not responding but I managed to upload a play blast on to Tumblr the show what my 3D animation is like. If I were to do this project again what will I improve is making the 3D animation long and add more light more light on the scene the make the animation look better.

My weakness area is the writing works thing like the research and the evaluation this is the area that I need to very work on and improve. Other weaknesses is in 2D animation I can in improve this in my FMP.

My strong area is Motion Graphics & Compositing Video which I have achieved the highest grade for this unit because I understand how after effect work and I have use it to created many VFX, intro in this software with my skill in after effect this will be helpful to what I want to do for my FMP. I am also strong in producing concept art I have improve a lot of my Photoshop skill this will help me a lot for my FMP to plan of my idea and created concept art of want i want it to do.
