why do so many freaks go right to “there should be exams or tests before you have kids” when the real solution is better social services, robust infant and child development education that is accessible both financially and schedule/distance accommodating, and resources throughout any stage of a child’s life. genuine question like did you think about any social development before going straight to eugenics

I think a part of the issue is bad parents having control issues, growing up rural and knowing people who grew up even more rural than me, I can tell you there were, are, and will continue to be people who live in willful ignorance on almost all subjects and will demand their kids do the same.

Like they will fight to make sure their kids have the worst education possible because they don't want their kids smart enough to realize how bad their life is and so their kids won't leave when they grow up to guarantee some sort of social net for themselves in their old age.

Though I suppose this is also an issue of our society lacking in social services to protect kids in that situation and the ethics of says one's way of life is wrong simply because, from the most common perspective ,the children are being denied any sort of alternative to the life their parents are forcing on them.

All in all I see where people come from with the idea but it's because they got lazy in the thought process and decided to just do the simplest one to mentally conceive which is to say they want to stop the problem where they think it starts, but that's like say we can stop flood damage in hurricanes by simply removing all the water in the oceans, it gets the job done but there are methods that don't seem like something a supervillain from a TVY7 came up with.

It's a whole complex issue involving our government, social structures, mass mentality and consensus. And it's not gonna be fixed until years after implementing multiple changes that will be seen as expensive and possibly obstructive, or at least the people benefitting from it will they are expensive and obstructive, so it's an issue with the general public not trusting the people in charge enough for a "we promise it will get better give it time" project... I mean when it is one that benefits everyone, they'll wait decades on a project that screws everyone but them for no reason other than they can.
