So I gave Sharlotta a redesign.

TW: Religious Aspects

Old Design:

There are alot of aspects of this design that I like, like how it fits with her idea of modesty, but too many of my characters have some sort of left eye injury, and it looks kind of samey.

Also, you can barely see any religious aspects of her character, which is her most important trait.

New Design (WIP):

She still has the same halberd, she just isn't holding it in this art. I love the nun like outfit, which fits more with her character lore.

Also, I finally drew one of the main ideas I had for her outfit, and is that her shirt cuffs are made to look somewhat like wooden handcuffs.

It makes more sense that she would hide her tail considering that she is trying to shed her succubus identity and become a pure human.

I would really love ideas and criticism!

Aka: Consequences to child abuse!

The vibe I wanted to give Catherine was something like the witch in Hansel and Gretel. Everything in her home is something children/teenagers would enjoy, candy, trendy clothes, story books, cheap jewelry, etc. Kids would dare eachother to go inside the house and steal a couple of things only to run away in horror from Catherine holding a pitchfork or a broom

Aisel was the one who suggested her sister be set free after a few weeks of being starved and dehydrated in a magic prison, albeit she was still as hungry and dehydrated as before for quite a while when Catherine was living on the streets.

There's no way Aisel grew up to be the perfect angel Diana assumed she would be. I wouldn't call Aisel the worst mother or wife in the world, she certainly loves her daughter, but her love for Sawyer is loveless, all she wanted out of him was to make Catherine suffer and now that he fulfilled his role, Aisel wouldn't go out of her way for him if she doesn't have to.

She would try to knock any "abnormal" traits out of her daughter but it would come from a twisted form of love, Aisel doesn't want her kid to end up as evil and selfish as Catherine and she thinks what she's doing is necessary.

If you're wondering where Diana is in this au, she's dead 😅, it was the 1800s, survival rates weren't that high for most people and nobles only now started to have higher life spans . Her funeral took place a year before the birth of her grandchild.

I thought it would cathartic if Aisel's daughter was also incapable of casting spells or generally performing magic in everyday situations. Annie isn't actually another case of a baby-swap, Sawyer is too much of a tool to cheat, but rumors are cruel, they don't care who the target is.

Annie's fascination for the paranormal also comes from Catherine's affiliation with dark magic.

Hi, everyone! I'm back again with a panel redrawing!

This time with a panel from episode 2 of What Death Taught Me.

Not a big fan of this manhwa, the art is pretty in some panels, but the story is oddly similar to Sister, I'm the queen in this life (Which already has problems of its own), and it has some aspects that irk me. That's why I wanted to redraw this specific panel:

I find it highly disturbing how the story is trying to sell us the idea that a young girl (a MINOR) "seduced" the protagonist's father, and how this means she's a wicked villainess who deserves death instead of a victim of abuse in the hands of a GROWN MAN.

Bear in mind that the manhwa aged Kanna (the villainess) up to sixteen years old, while she's only twelve in the novel.

I have no idea if this change was made in an attempt to not make the whole situation look that "bad", even though the problem of portraying a minor as a seductress to a grown man persists regardless of whether she's twelve or sixteen.

[EDIT: Someone in the comments pointed out that Kanna is actually sixteen in the novel as well, which I confirmed after making a Kakao account to be able to read the original novel.

I want to apologize. I saw forums and youtubers confirming that Kanna was twelve as well and took it as face value. It was a mistake on my part and I'm very sorry.

However, Kanna is still a minor.]

And the worst thing is that our protagonist, Rinette (who went back in time and is mentally an ADULT), looks back on the interactions between Kanna, her adopted sister, and her father and treats it as "Kanna seduced my father!" instead of "My father abused my (adoptive) sister for YEARS!" Plus, several readers of this manhwa share that belief. You can go to the comments on the second episode, and you'll see how many people treat Kanna as a shameless seductress.

I wanted to do justice for Kanna. So I redrew the eroticized panel of Kanna ""seducing"" Baron Hilt so it actually portrays what the scene was about.

A young girl who just lost her parents to a mining accident and was left all alone.

Sorry for the rant. I was quite mad at this story, and its portrayal of Kanna. My mutuals feel the same way, as well as several other people.

Anyways i guess this kinda works as a rewrite too so anyways i wanted to change the idea from internet tech stuff to the transition from old 1980's media propaganda to internet propaganda.

His right side can switch from different channels (right now he's playing a shark documentary)

His left side is just stuck like that. he can't fix it.

He's stuck wearing the suit he wore during his death. he can't take it off.

Also his head is a crt tv now instead of flatscreen because it makes more sense to me and he's always slouching because it is very clear that the tv is too heavy for him

Oh btw the wires and mechanics are slowly starting to grow inside him because that's just a cool character design a like

and yes if you were to remove the screen it would just be his rotting face william afton style, which is why it's a big rule that nobody even attempts to remove it
