Finished the ruffle :)
I’ve made quite a bit of progress in only a few days 😊
Above, is the progress I made over a couples days and below is what I did yesterday!
I’m going to work on more of it today. I start on the ruffle! 🍄
I’m starting another project! Yay!
I only have this month and a few weeks of next month to finish it. Boo!
But it might be easier than it seems! Yay!
But there’s so little time to do it! Boo!
…
Sorry for the antics lol
It’s all true though.
I decided to try making more Christmas gifts this year to help cut back on spending so much, and one such Christmas gift idea is to make a mushroom purse! It’s super cute. 😊
(Here’s the pattern below)

Unfortunately, there is no YouTube video to help with the crocheting process. Because of that, I redid the beginning part several times before I was satisfied I was even remotely getting it semi-right 😅
I am very encouraged that I was able to start it so soon though. I literally bought the yarn yesterday and started it that same evening after working on some schoolwork.
This is how far I’ve gotten so far:
It’s the bottom of the mushroom stem. :) so far, so good.
I’ll try and work on some more of it tomorrow (technically today).
I’m excited for when it’s done 💚
Yarn out 🧶
Finished my second autumn project for the season: a beanie.
I haven’t been very active in crocheting so it took me WEEEEEEKS (if not a month) to finish this. And yes, it’s a bit small for my head (I should’ve measured my head like the tutorial said) and it’s a bit too long (I really wanted that orange on the end lol) but otherwise it turned out very well i think :)
Here’s mine…
And here’s the tutorial I used: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o0YCzR0TmtA
Of the types of beanies that I’ve made (two so far) this is pretty straightforward. It does take a long while to do (if you are an on-and-off crocheter like me lol). Otherwise, as one friend of mine was able to do, you can make this beanie in literally a night!
👀
I don’t know about you, but for me, that ain’t happening anytime soon lol 😅
