Been reading 'And you Thought things were Over' by Lazella on AO3 once again. Because why not.

Anyhow messed up one of my fingers on my dominant hand a day or two ago so I can't draw digitally. It took a while but I got these two headshots of Yugi.

The 2nd one (Signature Spell headshot as I couldn't do a full on art piece like I wanted) I felt like it was just right to make Yugi's bangs float a tad, his eyes being similar to the colour scheme of Season 0 Yami & getting the Millennium eye symbol on his forehead when casting the spell.

After a while I have found out apparently APPARENTLY- Joey opened the Soul jar and revived EVERYONE. I'm shocked- why didn't we include that in 'Season 5' that is major information I think. What- Anyhow this is the only reason I'm gonna be good with Season 4 now because now we as a fandom can open up a new fold of Post-Season 4 where we can have all the groups have chats and talk to each other. It'd be funny and interesting I think. I can see us bringing some fun into this. That and we can now open up the ability to have them even get 'invited' or something to Pandora's box in an AU of 'Season 5' where perhaps half the cast is oldies from each season (1-3) and the other half are newbies. Or even we can have everyone be people who were in the old parties. Just trying to escape and being so done with Joey. Usually I'm all for ignoring Season 4 originally (was a bit salty originally and didn't see Season 4 being the best ending to the show) but honestly now I'll take it for using it for more unique fandom content.

When I straight up was planning on doing more related to the ETN au's (mainly because I was looking back at em again) I got but then remember I lost almost everything from it in a forced wipe of my reg electronic and backup of said electronic.

Time to build it back up again!

So About the Lost Tapes. PT 3 FINAL PART SPOILERS BELOW FOR ETN BEWARE

Alright, so now to the last thing I'm a bothered by and I feel like I'm not the only one is not happy with this conclusion. Like I already started to talk about in the previous paragraph; the '5th season' ends with Joey rewinding everything back to season 1. Everything doomed to happen all over, nothing to change. This just feels like he wants to have ETN continue but also not in the way we know and love. It's like he is halfway in and out; the ending feels like a cop out to me and doesn't bring everything full circle in a good way. It's just a way to end it and be done with it. I wish things were different; especially since I believe that they could have gone a different route here for this 'season'. They could have went a way that adds lore to everything. Perhaps some way of showing the SAE and the Cursed God and world build on the Survivors too. Build it up for another season without trying to follow a formula that does better on a larger budget but something that would get the fandom to want more. One thing I want to say in the positives is I honestly liked Jojo being in the 'Season 5'. She brought some good humor and made me laugh a few times. Specifically relating to finding out that basically everyone in there with her has been in this situation before and has died too. I'll probably start posting more ETN stuff since the fandom is coming back now. Can't wait to hear discussion from others in the fandom. Later!

So About the Lost Tapes. PT 2 SPOILERS FOR ETN BELOW

What is it are there going to be no death challenges and people just, die? Or are there going to be death challenges. One or the other please; even then can we actually have a reason besides Tana being taken twice being the reason. They didn't even get told that they could die if getting taken twice too. There was all this set up by the NPC in 'Silent Night' before she died too! It so sets up a death challenge but then we don't get it! I quote; 'You must stop the Kali! But in doing so, one of you will die. If you want to live, receive the gifts of the multi on Epiphany.' Before she says to take her book. Literally all the book says (and even then I don't see them really looking too much at it in the episode) are the clues for the 3 gems (which they barely get into one clue before they start just solving willy nilly with no need for the clues). They don't even look at what happens if someone is captured till 17 minutes and 48 seconds into the episode (The first 'episode' is 24 minutes). THEY GET THAT FROM THE BOOK TOO. It frustrates me that they don't read it or get that information from the NPC in some way that died earlier in 'Silent Night'. This all might feel silly to be upset over but it does bother me that they were so wishy washy with death challenges and all of them not getting the information till basically too late. Anyhow, anyone remember when Joey said he wanted to do an 'All Star Survivor' Season. Don't think it'll happen anymore. Since it seems like he is trying to wrap up the first 4 seasons and Nikita is possibly killed in this '5th season' it just doesn't make sense. Besides the fact that you who know who (Colleen) was outed for being a horrible person, they just don't have anyone that can replace the other season 4 survivor. They could have done that here with 2 survivors being dead people and Joey but nope. It seems all of them have died even if this whole 'season' was a way of saying it's all set in stone.

So About the Lost Tapes. PT 1 (Tumblr won't let me full post) SPOILERS BELOW FOR ETN IN GENERAL

Cutting to the Chase here. Why are we having Tana and Ro get the tapes? Their dead, dead 2 times over. They are in Hell from what Season 4 tells us. SO WHY ARE THEY AT HOME GETTING THESE TAPES. Show them both repeating their respective nights with no ability to do anything about their deaths even with the knowledge that they have. Keep having them repeat it all and keep trying to change fate and survive. That seems like Hell. Plus have them find the tapes that way. I will also say, what about Manny? Manny is also dead but they show him just going to the door to grab the tape? He is also dead isn't he? I don't know feels sloppy here too. Nikita and Jojo whatever I care less about that. Nikita survived the night and was a guardian angel in Season 4. Jojo is brand new so alright I can cut slack here. All the tapes came in folders with the SAE symbol on it too! What do you mean the Society Against Evil GAVE every single one of them the tapes to get transported into the death trap called Pandora's box. JUST HOW. We got bits of meager lore on the Cursed God too in 'Red Mask' too! We should get more lore on both of these sides. We know the SAE aren't all good for sure now due to the tapes coming from them. Why couldn't we possibly save lore on them for another season or maybe not include teases at all. Makes me a bit salty really but whatever, it doesn't really affect the enjoyment a whole lot. I'm sure we can play around as a fandom about this more now. Thinking about it more we had NO death challenges besides the one in 'Red Mask' and that was basically a repeat of one of the tasks from Season 3 'Strong like a Demon'. Specifically the buckets Manny and Matpat had to hold up. Except they had Jojo and Manny hold plates with saucers filled with 'blood' and one leg up so they were to balance while doing so. Aside from this 'Silent Night' from the Lost Tapes had me all ready for Tana, Ro and Jojo to go in a challenge together and two people escape while the last person (the loser) gets killed. But instead for a reason we don't truly know Tana is killed. Just gets captured once more and that's it, dead. Talk about build up dying right there. I know there is a budget and it was smaller than what Joey wanted but some of what happened in the show just feels odd. This being one of them; why mention death challenges and then the only two people doing them are Jojo and Manny who went undercover so were screwed in the first place to possibly die when being picked.
