I GOT A SKATEBOARD LET'S GOOOOOO
Item: The Memory Squeegee Rarity: ⏶ Common
What game would you erase from your memory just to experience it for the first time again?

hollow knight! i do like silksong more, but hollow knight was more chill. i didn't know what i was in for and discovering it was amazing. with silksong, i already knew so much of the lore that it just didn't hit as hard.
oh! i completely forgot to post this!
it's my birthday :]
tumblr cat game, beautiful birthday gift.

Name a video game song you still have stuck in your head.

choral chambers by christopher larkin, hollow knight silksong ost.
though to be fair, no song is stuck in my head at the moment, that's just the one i'm listening to currently and will get stuck in my head
Item: A Thought Bubble Rarity: ✦ Uncommon
Has a game ever genuinely changed how you think about something?

outer wilds seems to be causing existential crises in a lot of people, and for sure would have caused one in me if i hadn't done so myself a few years prior. highly recommend it by the way.
hyper light drifter almost changed the way i think about mortality, but it was a whole process that hld was just a part of.
surprisingly enough, the actual answer to the question is lethal company of all things. see, i am absolutely and completely terrified of horror in games, probably because that actually requires you to do something about the scary. i don't have to deal with the cursed doll or whatever in a movie, but if a bracken is hunting me that's a problem!
so lethal company is one of the only games my entire friend group finds fun, so of course we played it a lot, and i got kind of used to being scared all the time, therefore making the feeling at least tolerable. and i internalised the fact that monsters in video games are just in video games.
i don't like horror by any means, but now i can appreciate it! :]
i really like whatever this event is. video games is my medium. i have a lot to say! :]

Most underrated video game?

this is actually a pretty difficult question, mostly because i choose games by trusting the public opinion... and because all hidden gems i found became extremely not hidden...
but, white knuckle is really good. horror climbing game. not very scary, thankfully.
i don't know how popular slay the princess is but i liked that one a lot also, despite it being a visual novel (which is a genre i'm not a fan of)

Console or PC?

pc for sure. i've never owned a console. seems expensive
i started playing outer wilds. and because it is about space and is made by people who love space (i can tell!) and i also love space i loved outer wilds right off the bat. it's really good
a friend of mine came up with a joke and I made a comic strip out of it
i have the shattering circle playing in my head 24/7 because it is a god damn MASTERPIECE
ULTRAKILL sketches from a few months ago. I really love the characters and designs, the machines especially. They're so much fun to draw
