In an alternate universe, all of the Shakespeare characters attend Stratford University and many live on its campus. You are a lesser-known Shakespeare character from one of his less-well-known plays, and it’s your first day on campus. Unfortunately, due to an error in the system, you’re not assigned to a dorm, so they assign you one. Your dorm mates? The Weird Sisters, all three of them.

"Hey," I chuckled, backing away from my new roommates. " Kinda ironic that you guys told my boss about how he'd fall, right?"

The sisters looked at me quizzically. The first spoke, " Who are you again?"

I slid the knife out from behind my back. "Oh no one important."

The third began to stutter out (a spell? How am I supposed to know?) a string of words. "Sisters…!"

My eyes glinted. "What, you egg?"

Okay, this post made me kinda sad, so I’m gonna cut in.

We are all equal. We are people. But yes, we are extraordinary. We as LGBT+ people have overcome hardship that cishet people would never dream of. We experience adversity at just about every step and we are still strong, we are still capable, we still survive, and we are extraordinary.

We survive in a world that still wants to kill us. That is important. Please, @thatravenclawinthetardis, don’t let people tell you that you can’t be proud of who you are if you’re in the LGBT+ community. Don’t let people tell you that pride isn’t equality. Don’t let people tell you that you can’t have pride in your identity - because the rest of the world has been allowed to have unabashed pride in theirs for centuries.

Thanks. It’s been a few years, and I’m starting to see more and more negativity about queer folk, and there’s tons of Pan erasure, and so much bigotry. We deserve love and recognition, and I see now that we ARE extraordinary, but putting people down for being straight makes us just as bad as them. I thought that’s what this post was the first time I saw it, but I see it now. Thank you.

Ghost with no family suddenly find long-lost relations because they can communicate with these strangers, but my great grandmother is your aunt’s cousin, and that’s cool.

Ghosts that have been dead for a long time can talk to their great grandchildren and be apart of their lives.

Ghosts that lived in medieval times being able to warn family that they’d been executed, and that they’ll be next.

Ghosts that can be seen by anyone under non-visible light like infrared and UV.

Ghosts that deliberately avoid people searching for them because dammit, I’m dead, and I deserve some peace.
