Just watched NPMD and I have to say, it's starting to get a little bit sus to me, that Starkid has made 13 musicals and 0 of them have a black person in a lead role. The biggest roles played by black people in starkid have been Big T, the grandpa and the ghost of christmas present. Every other role played by a black person is a tertiary character.
Just like in Firebringer, they had an amazing black vocalist and trotted her out for one amazing vocal moment and then gave her absolutely nothing else.
