Hello!
This is a rp blog I made for my Shadowguy OCs! Everything here takes place in an abandoned film set on the outskirts of TV World, before chapter 3. The set is modeled after a chunk of city blocks and styled similarly to New York City, but like. The back alleys of New York City.
UPDATE: NO LONGER HORRIBLY AUTISTIC ABOUT SHADOWGUYS, I NOW LIKE THEM A LEGITIMATELY NORMAL AMOUNT AND AS SUCH THIS BLOG'S ACTIVITY HAS GREATLY REDUCED.

Frank and Henry
(he/him for both)
These two are featured in the same character art because they are practically two halves of the same guy. They never do anything without each other, and often seem to know what the other is thinking at any given time. No one else knows what kind of relationship they have, not even each other, but whatever it is, they're obviously very close.
Frank and Henry are the "main characters" of the abandoned Metropolis set in TV World; they practically own the place. They're so dedicated to their favorite roles that they don't let themselves be recast to get more screentime. As a result, though, the two are often quite lonely and don't see too many of Tenna's other employees that often unless they go venturing out to do so.
Frank has the personality of a grizzled yet still friendly older detective, while Henry acts more like an unconfident younger man who's still new to this whole "investigating" thing.

Sweep
(they/them)
Sweep is just a janitor. And a Zapper. They're not very special, but they appreciate company. They do the thankless work of keeping the studio clean, as well as taking care of repairs for equipment when Mike is indisposed for whatever reason.
Sweep is introverted and prefers their alone time, but they don't mind stopping to chat every now and then. They come off as indifferent most of the time, and they ARE indifferent about half of that time. Their Brooklyn accent is a little thicker than other Zappers, so it can be hard to understand them occasionally.

Clint
(he/him preferred, but will accept any pronouns)
Clint is a Shadowguy from a different Dark World entirely! How he ended up in TV World is unknown even to him. His home Dark World is based on fantasy tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons and it was created in a college dorm room. He's friends with a party of differently shaped Pippinses made of roleplaying dice, and a really worn out rabbit plushie. These guys may show up if demand is high.
Clint is an old action figure who used to be someone's favorite toy. When pressed on the matter, he tends to shut down the conversation and change the subject. He's pretty much just your average Shadowguy except for the fact that he can talk instead of just making saxophone noises. This fact about him kind of ostracizes him from the TV World Shadowguys.
Clint is melancholic and brooding, but has a lot of wise things to say. Some of his advice may be wrong, though, since much of it is an overcorrection from hardships he's experienced. He doesn't like to elaborate on said hardships.

Louie
(he/they)
Louie, also known as Luigi or Lou, is one of Kris's old action figures that they played with the most out of all of them. After a trip to the playground when they were little, Louie got lost for a few hours and had his leg chewed off by a dog, and Kris didn't wanna play with him anymore after that and picked a new favorite until they grew out of playing with toys. In the Dark World, he has crutches and has become pretty adept at using them.
Louie hangs out in the abandoned set, since they worry they'd get in people's way otherwise. They don't interact much with Frank or Henry, since they're sure they'd be burdening them. (They would not be.)
Louie is sweet but skittish, and he enjoys music much like other Shadowguys do, his favorites being jazz and some subgenres of funk. He's been wanting to get the other reject Shadowguys in the noir set to form a band with him, but hasn't reached out quite yet.

Wait. If your ask hasn't been answered yet, it's most likely because I'm still drawing it. I occasionally try to animate asks if I'm in the mood for it, too. I do ignore asks and I do block, but those are pretty rare occurrences.
I will answer almost every ask I receive, but if I don't like your ask don't expect a serious response from it. Asks I didn't take seriously will be tagged #no effort and won't be considered canon to this blog.
Long roleplays are allowed and will be tagged #canon, but I'm far more discerning with these and am less likely to answer them.
Regarding long roleplays, please do not try to include me in roleplays with extensive lore, as I'd like to keep this blog accessible to people without the time and/or energy to backread long strings of reblogs.
Repeat asks are allowed, since I know Tumblr is barely functional and might just eat asks sometimes, but I'll only allow up to three of the same ask in a row before I consider it spam and ignore your ask entirely.
Do not send me hate asks, or you will be blocked from sending asks. Yes, even on anon. You can send the CHARACTERS hate though, that shit's hilarious.
There is a limit to how sexual you're allowed to be in my asks. You can be suggestive and you can be down bad for my characters but please do not go into explicit detail with that shit. Nobody needs to see that. I won't answer overly sexual asks directly but I might make a reference to the fact that they exist if it's funny enough.
Please don't get on me for the art style I use in my asks being inconsistent. I don't always have the time or energy to draw accurate and detailed renders so if your ask gets answered in a simpler art style don't complain about it.
Fanart is encouraged!!! I love my guys.
