Logan, holding up a schedule book: Whoops, sorry, I can’t go on a date, I’m scheduled for work, working on other things, leisure time, of course, hydration, and sleep. Ah, I seem to have a space- oh, that’s booked for work. Seems I’ll just have to not date you.
He’s much more interested in studying the chemicals involved in romantic attraction that he is in having any involvement in it himself. He finds the science aspect of it rather intriguing.
Logan discovered he was aroace because he was researching the terms and realized “Oh, it’s me!”

Carries around cited flashcards on asexuality and aromanticism to explain it to people who may not understand, because he gets to help people learn and he’s very excited about it!
Much like Patton, he’s very upset about the fact that so many ‘romantic gestures’ are not inherently romantic. He’s going to hold hands because it improves his mental health and immune system, not because he’s in love, thank you very much.

Probably loves this song since it’s got a super neat tech-y texture with the whole message about redefining something, and also considering all the music about being human on his playlist, the lyrics about loving yourself
Maybe he doesn’t fall in love in the romantic sense, but he falls in love with knowledge, with the stars, with books and essays, with science and rhythm and math, and most of all, he loves his famILY. And he thinks that’s wonderful.
I listened to You Matter to Me from Waitress and then I got Feelings about Crowley telling Aziraphale he’s valued and appreciated and then I drew this with this really cool square brush I found in Krita!! I hope you all like it!!!
Prismir is out on one of the main continents one day, checking in on how zer lightning is affecting the ground. A man, brave or stupid, depending on who you ask, dares to go up to the deity and ask zem for a date.

"Nepthys!" Adrienne sobbed, rushing across the ocean floor towards her friend.
"Adrienne!" Shouted Nepthys in return, sprinting to meet her in the middle.
Their legs had nearly given out by the time they reached each other, but they collapsed into each other's arms on the ground, sobbing and smiling and holding each other close, tan skin and golden glow clutching to one another. It had been a long while, and a lot of stress to have been apart, and they were very grateful to be back together.
After their tears had finally run dry, and they sat hugging each other and sniffling into each other's shoulder's, a voice spoke from behind them.
When you thought it would be fun to let your worms make their own little society but now there’s an anarchist wiggling around setting fire to buildings, 
everyone’s panicking,
and two of your worms are making out and touching tails like there’s no tomorrow

maybe he doesn’t experience romance but he still thinks it’s Neat! he absolutely adores sappy love stories. even if he doesn’t experience romantic love himself, he likes seeing people in happy and healthy relationships!
really mad that a lot of things are considered romantic by default. would absolutely buy all of the other sides chocolates and roses purely platonically. he loves his friends okay

that one song about having a dog instead of a romantic relationship is playing in Patton’s head a lot because it’s a Mood
does he experience romantic attraction? no. Is he still Absolutely Full of Love? Absolutely.

aka- in which I try to write 500 words really fast about the first story topic I can think of. So this may not be entirely coherent or well-written, but it’s something, so I figured I might as well post it! The topic at hand (Sanders Sides, Logan specifically, and magical thinking) has been on my mind a lot lately so probably expect a more coherent theory post about it at some point!!

Logan did not fear the dark sides.
Or the “Others”, as Virgil called them. He did not fear Deceit, for his lies and facades, for things that he made to be true but never would be. He did not fear Remus, for his impulsiveness, nor the darkness he brought. And he certainly did not fear Virgil- protective, vigilant Virgil who had long abandoned the role of enemy in Logan’s eyes and was now someone no less than a great friend to him.
No, Logan did not fear them. If he had no feelings, how could he be afraid?
He ignored how those words were lies, intertwined with the remembrance of scales and a snake eye. Logan, much as he denied it, could fear. And Logan knew very well what he was afraid of.
Logic was the very definition of himself. Sound, safe reasoning built on facts and knowledge. What is known, what is intelligence, was him.
But logic could be twisted.
And that was what he was terrified of.
Magical thinking, he’d seen it called. A condition, usually found as a symptom of anxiety or OCD, that could fool one into believing that the facts were not and the irrational was. Illogical, was what it was. And that was what Logan feared.
He could rebut Deceit, his lies, state facts of the matter and state figures that would have him turning tail and running away. He could defeat Remus, in his pure chaos, because chaotic as he was Remus had to listen. But often times, in magical thinking, logic cannot prevail over irrationality-fueled fear, for the unknown is big and all around, and Logan does not have the facts to dispute what the unknown could be. And if logic will not be heard, Logan will not know what to do.
It is terrifying.
If logic, the very fabric of his reality, can be torn apart. Ripped to shreds and painted in pain. Then all he can do, Logan supposes, is put it back together.
Bleach the fabric back, make it its right color, sew pieces back together again on threads of reassurance he can only hope will hold. Fix his world best he can and put it back in its space where it belongs. And never let bad near it again.
Logan is scared. Much as he claims apathy, he has fear. But when all is said and done, logic will fight the hard fight. Logan will do what he needs to do to protect his family. And when he has fought, and is fought, he will win, must win. Because false logic, twisted as it may be, cannot prevail over fact, long as Logan has anything to say about it. He will not let fear paralyze his family, nor him. Logan is scared, yes. But he will seek knowledge, as he has always done, and that will be enough to see him through.
Maybe, if he can keep knowledge alight, there’ll never be something broken in the first place.
