A week ago, I reread J. R. R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit: There and Back Again."

And this weekend, I watched the "The Hobbit" trilogy again.

A tea party for all three sets of brothers! They're celebrating the opening of Dori's new tea shop, which is much better than the one he used to work at (if he does say so himself). He designed the fancy swivel pot!

And that's a wrap! I may draw one more little comic as a many-years-later epilogue, but this is the end of the main story. It's been an absolute joy to draw. And I daresay I even learned a few art things.

Of course I had to draw the golden prince as a lionfish, and Ori just felt right as a squid. When he's not fighting, he uses his ink to write and illustrate the chronicles of the sea people.

finally read the classic fic A Long List of Happy Endings and I loved it so so so so much, I had to drop everything and make this mini comic of a scene that made me laugh.
