Here it is, the much promised and (probably not too terribly highly anticipated, but that’s okay) first chapter of my new longfic! I’ve been spinning my wheels on this one for years, playing around with ideas, writing and deleting oneshots and just never quite cracking it. It’s still not perfect and is a bit of a choppy transition from the story it is a sequel to. All of this is explained in the author’s note at the end of the first chapter. Oh, it is also available on my Wattpad (TheHummingbirdWrites) if that’s your jam. Just not ff.net. Has anyone else had difficulty uploading new documents to that site or is it just me? Anyway! I’m really proud of what I have so far and am so excited to continue working on this series! Yay! 🌼

i think its a lil sad how often people will like restrain themselves from exploring new identities and hobbies because they don't want it to be an "embarrassing phase" because honestly i think its way cooler to have a diverse and varied lifestyle that you can look back on and say "omg i used to love doing that!" and apply those skills and interests to something else.
