Change what you can.
Accept what you can't.
New year, is it time to re-evaluate what makes us happy? Or time to re-evaluate happiness?
https://www.instagram.com/the_dark_thrive/
It took me nearly 30 years to learn something I should of been taught as a child. And this is why I teach this to children. My own, and the ones in my care;
Supressed emotions don't leave us.
They get trapped. They rot. They fester.
But emotions that travel through the awareness, being allowed to exist, do eventually leave.
Often, we're taught that to feel emotions is weakness. But our emotions can be painful. And turning towards pain isn't weakness, it's strength.
Hail Yourself! 🤘
☯️ "Yin and yang represent duality, or the idea that two opposite characteristics can actually exist in harmony and complement each other." ☯️
This description instantly reminded me of the symbolism and duality of the Baphomet, and I wanted to translate it into a Satanic symbol.
To me, Yin is Satanism and Yang is mindfulness!
Hail Yourself🤘
Satanism is personal freedom. And for many, it is the way out of religious chastity that many are forced into from birth! If you came to Satan from a religion that was assigned to you, you are the embodiment of the strength and rebellion that Satanism stands for.
Hail Satan! Hail You!
Happy Lupercalia!
Hail Satan,
Hail Yourself!

Here goes… something.
Mindfulness has brought alot of extra meaning to my life. It pairs so well with the self-care and self-empowerment principals of Satanism, so I combined symbols of the two to reflect that union!
Completed a 10 mile run today in preparation for a charity 20 mile run on March 11th! Bringing the difficulty to 2022!
Hail the Struggle!
This Saturday is my birthday, I asked my wife to give me a challenge as a present. Some kind of fear to tackle or other mental obstacle. This year is about facing difficulties, to inspire growth.
I'm fairly frightened of insects, reptiles and rats. And I'm fairly certain I'll be going to a centre to hold a multitude of these kinds of creatures.
I'm trying to create a mind frame of recognising how beneficial facing difficulties and fears can be. This is the start of that materialising.
Fuck fears,
Hail theyself!
In gratitude of 2021.
My gratitude highlights.
There's many highlights from my year that i'll be forever grateful for. Welcoming our third child, Bodhi is top of the list. Who, like his name sake, has been a constant source of inspiration for the entire family. Inspiring joy, compassion, patience (mostly) and love.
Having a baby puts a strain on any family, but strain builds muscle, and we've become stronger because of it.
The process of entering one of our younglings into the world is a hefty undertaking. And one that earned my wife the title "Warrior wife." Not only because of the physical endurance she showed throughout complications, but because of the mental strength too. She maintained a positive attitude that anyone would aspire to achieve under the circumstances.
With two other Children awaiting the arrival of the new baby, we knew that the disruptions to routines and shared attention had a possibility of causing challenges. But our 2 other children have adapted so well, due to their resilience, positive attitude and because of me and my wife's parenting style that focuses on our children's emotions as a priority.
All babies come with a difficulty level ranging between medium to insanity. But by knowing how quickly this time goes by, it's easier to stay present and recognise this time as fleeting, trying to enjoy as much of it as possible.
Why gratitude is important:
Since becoming aware of mindfulness, I've tried to practice gratitude more regularly. But In 2021 I feel like I was able to put the words together to better express myself, both from articulating my thoughts through creative writing, and through general practice.
When you practice gratitude, you condition the mind to be in a state of positive awareness. When gratitude becomes a habit, the subconcious becomes more adept at recognising positive experiences that elicit gratitude. By putting gratitude in the driving seat, the subconcious will identify and steer the individual into choices that continue to feed that gratitude.
Extremist spiritualists present this as the universe, or God, blessing the individual with bountiful gifts. But It's not mysterious voodoo bullshit, it's psychology.
Tony Robbins, millionaire and happiness cult leader, uses this anolagy. There's an item of clothing you want, so you think about it often. Suddenly you start noticing that same item of clothing on other people every time you leave the house. This works the same way as gratitude. Once you make it a habit, you automatically recognise opportunities to create create gratefulness.
I know 2022 will present our family with lots of opportunities to continue to be grateful, and I hope they do for yours as well.
Happy New Year!
If you don't change your mindset, Then nothing else will change. Not for long. And certainly not for the entirety of 2022.
Detoxing from social media for a couple of days. Really wanting to focus on, and appreciate my family this X-mas period. I'm very lucky and grateful to have some amazing people to spend my life with.
