‘The longest journey is the journey inward’
Semua orang di dunia tereskpos dengan pertanyaan mengenai passion dan visi misi hidup. Untuk diriku sendiri, pertanyaan ini adalah pertanyaan dasar yang seringkali ditanyakan ibuku, namun seiring berjalannya waktu, seringkali jawabannya sesuai arus dan fase berikutnya yang akan kulalui. Pertanyaan ini semakin intens dipertanyakan ketika mau lulus kuliah terutama bagi aku yang yang mengambil useless major. I am forced to follow my passion but with lots of responsibilities. Kedengarannya berat bukan, its okay, its getting clearer along the way.
Dalam tulisan ini aku mencoba untuk mengurai isi pikiranku dengan tema passion dan self discovery. Dua tema ini sebenarnya sangat ingin aku bahas terutama saat baru lulus kuliah dan sekarang dunia kerja. Sebagai jembatan untuk penguraian pikiranku, aku menggunakan Bahasa dan bahasa Inggris karena sebagai bangsa dengan tingkat trilingual yang tinggi jadi tidak apa-apa untuk menggunakan dua bahasa atau lebih dalam sebuah karya tulisan. Penulis memiliki kebebasan tanpa batas. Subjectivity at its best. Penguraian eksplorasi pikiran ini akan dilakukan dengan metode self-interview yang aku ambil dari link ini. 1. Am I honestly happy with how I’ve been spending my life-minutes
Well, I have to, I have to be happy. To be not happy is not a choice because unhappy can attract diseases and I don’t want that. So, In order to be happy I am starting to be grateful and starting to organize stuff and workload to be more productive and to finishing all tasks.
2. What do I really, truly want?
For the rest of my life, I want to be best at my current job. Because I need to have a good track record. I want to be more organized and more productive not only work but also writing and maintaining endurance. I want to get rid of bullshit material and actions. I am currently very into Japanese Minimalist Movement.
3. Is this REALLY what I want?
Yes, for now. I finally get an employee’s life, being responsible to the company and to be impactful with a stable salary.
4. How will I feel after I’ve done [that thing I’ve been meaning to do for ages]?
Afterwards, from now, I want to feel no regrets. So, no giving up when still young. I have to give my 100% effort and explore everything possible.

Laziness and always thinking about people said, but now, fuck what people think. As long my work is great it's okay.

Also, at my age now (23) I felt like I made so many mistakes and I am worried because this is the time that everything I chose will affect the rest of my life. However to be less worried, my brother and my mother told me “Only donkeys who keep repeating the same mistakes.”
