Are we really sure he was actually shot and decapitated? Idk, sounds like something he would’ve made up. Guys make false decapitation accusations all the time, you know.

Am I the only one who sees coins on the ground, and I want them, and I know that it would only take a second to pick it up, and I know it's free money, but there are people around and I don't want to look greedy picking up a dime off the ground, so I walk on past it, leaving it there, and I'm secretly crying on the inside because life is expensive, and I never have any money, but I can't just pick it up.

Me: What tone?
Friend: That tone.
Me: I didn’t have a tone, until you said I had a tone!
Growing up I’ve realized that I’m actually not that nice a person, but I just act nice because I’m afraid of the consequences of saying/doing what’s on my mind.
Just because we have bad thoughts, that doesn't make us a bad person. Thinking something overly critical of someone, or imagining how a loved one might die is just how we naturally process possibilities to narrow down what we actually want to do and are actually willing to do. Our fantasies are largely hypothetical, and rarely possess any foresight, or reflect our true desires. It is what we actually decided to do that defines us.

I had a dream once where
I was walking through downtown Kansas City with Danny Devito. We were both Italian mobsters, and were discussing how much money we were going to donate to India, but then Danny sticks a rose into the ground and climbs into a storm drain, from which he stares at said rose for a few minutes until I come up and say, “Let’s go Danny... it’s a dud bud.”

ayy in case anybody isnt familiar with the hercules beetle life cycle, this is the middle stage, right before they pupate into the more recognizable Big Bug !
but their larval form is also really interesting - hercules beetles are some of the largest in the world ( not THE largest, but up there ) and their grubs are a good reflection of that at up to around 6 inches long
compare that to the adult size of the female beetle, who doesnt get that big ol horn - a very big baby
