Go Your Own Way
"Happy Birthday to you..." The pie was trembling slightly in Blaine's grasp when he was finished and he pressed a sweet kiss to Blaine's cheek, and whispered softly, "Make a wish, Blaine." There was a moment's pause before Blaine leaned down a little and blew the candle out. He handed the fork to Blaine as he nuzzled his nose against the boy's cheek. He was surprised when the first bite was offered to him, but he accepted, letting Blaine feed him. He smiled and snuggled closer as they ate in silence for several minutes, alternating forkfuls between themselves. "My mom used to do this with me." Blaine's soft voice broke through the comfortable silence as he feed Kurt another bite of pie, "It's one of the only things I remember. Every birthday, she'd wake me up right before midnight with pie or cake or whatever so she could be the first to wish me happy birthday."
