Acornpaw- Apprentice of Clearclan, apprentice of Moleeyes, brother of Cloverpaw

A new apprentice, and Moleeye’s first student. He’s a very small round cat, from the moment he was born. Combined with that his oaky colors, he was given the name Acornkit by his mother. 

He’s a bit brash, not smug but just. Angry and kind of stupid. He’ll kick anyone’s tail, and he hates going on hunting patrol and just wants to sneer and yell at older warriors like he’s there boss.

Waspclaw, Warrior of Duneclan.

Black and golden-brown pointed tom with blue eyes. Son of Finheart. Nephew of Minnowflash. Grandson of Ospreyfall and Mudleap. Mate of Laurelwhisker.

His father grew up feeling displaced, and that caused Waspclaw to grow up feeling like he didn’t belong as well. He was picked on, and Finheart tried his best to protect him, but because he couldn’t stop it completely, Waspclaw grew up bitter. He feels that his father should have been more prepared to defend him before bringing him into this world. Doesn’t try to hide his disdain for Finheart at all, and has been reprimanded several times for his bad attitude.

Starlingpaw- Apprentice of Clearclan, apprentice of Stonesoar, 

A smug cat, Starlingpaw is the clan’s next historian. He even thinks, despite his younger age, that he knows more about clan history than Stonesoar. He also likes to get into trouble, and assumes he can get out of it with little to no effort. But he can’t. His proudness is all talk and given that he’s to be the clan historian, he has very little actual warrior training. 

His proud nature has gotten him into life threatening danger before. With the whole clan suffering because of his choices. As a kit he wandered out of camp, following Stonesoar, into the deeper woods than Clearclan’s camp is in. Along the path, Stonesoar sniffed around a hole in the ground before his fur puffed out and he ran off as fast as he could. Of course Starlingkit didn’t realize this and, following Stonesoar’s lead, went to sniff the area, only to come snout to snout with two very upset badgers. Stonesoar heard his yowling and found Starlingkit bleeding out a while away from the encounter. 

After saving the young kit’s life, despite the scolding never to go out of camp with him again, Starlingkit became attached at the hip to the older cat, and to this day wears the badger scar on his chest as a badge of honor. Though Stonesoar treats it like a curse, especially given it did nothing to change Starlingpaw’s cockiness.

Mottlepaw- Apprentice of Clearclan, apprentice of Fleetlake, sibling of Lilytoad, Fennelbreeze, (future) uncle of Haykit and Mossykit

The current oldest apprentice, Mottlepaw is the littermate of Lilytoad. They are less ambitious than their sister, actually being scolded by their mentor numerous times for being shy. They were hesitant to go to their first gathering, too nervous about someone teasing them from another clan. But with his mentor and sister, they were shoved into it. 

Their nervousness has led to them being held back from becoming a new warrior alongside their sister. Much to the annoyance of their mentor, Fleetlake. Who, embarrassingly for Mottlepaw, is already best friends with their sister.

Lilytoad- Warrior of Clearclan, sister of Mottlepaw and Fennelbreeze, (future) aunt of Haykit and Mossykit

Lilytoad is a diplomat at heart, as it has always been with her family. She’ll always look to bring clans together, and her ambition for peace has been clear since the moment she opened her eyes. Her and Fleetlake were always great friends, complimenting each other in their confrontational  styles. Her soft but honest tone in the face of other clans makes her a great resource, letting her jump forward from her more laid back littermate, Mottlepaw. 

She pushes her way into every gathering, even when not told to come. She’s going to be seen by all the clans and respected by them no matter what.

Personality- Sweet, eccentric, maternal, calm yet never wants to sit still, focussed, and funny.

Special- Her voice is high pitched and sing-songy. Thanks to her small size and stature, Alderwhisker was bullied as a kit and even apprentice. Her brother Thistlestep would snarl at anyone who treated her less than until she learned to love herself.

Horsebranch- Warrior of Clearclan, mate of Sneezefall, sire of Stonesoar.

A polar opposite to his own son, Horsebranch is a goofball, a self loather. But above all, a conspiracy theorist. Among warriors he’s known as a troublemaker with claims of how clan leaders never existed,and that cats were made purely for fighting and not poetry. It is usually all fairly absurd, but he does it with an earnestness that makes it hard to get really mad at him. 

His mate, Sneezefall, is charmed by him. They think every little nonsensical thing about the reincarnations of evil cats is what it is, nonsense, but that there’s a joke behind it. That these harmless little ideas that come into the harmless cat’s head are just little whimsies that they can amuse each other with. And while Horsebranch does thoroughly believe his ideas to be true, he does love seeing Sneezefall laugh, so he doesn’t object.

Sealeye and Eggwatcher, Warriors of Palmclan.

Sealeye is a solid blue cat (Nonbinary), and Eggwatcher is a solid white tom. Sealeye is the brother of Lakefish, Eggwatcher is the brother of Stoatfur and the uncle of Emberkit, Pollenkit, Moorhenkit and Pearlkit.

Sealeye was injured in the same accident that rendered Eggwatcher disabled for so long, but they recovered much faster. Felt guilty about leaving Eggpaw behind, and the two grew distant. Now Sealeye has driven a wedge between themselves and the rest of the clan, due to a constant paranoia that no one will be there for them. Not at all close to his littermate Lakefish, and the two quarrel often.

Eggwatcher is the most recent warrior, but not age-wise. Spent a good number of moons recovering in the med cat den, where he became very patient and observant. Might have become the next apprentice, if he hadn’t had a burning ambition to be a warrior and train apprentices. Despite his normal demeanor, he can’t help but hold a small grudge over Sealeye becoming a warrior without him. His time recovery resulted in a bond with Orangemask that rivals kinship, and he’s probably the sullen toms best friend.

Rabbitfluff- Warrior of Clearclan, brother of Sheepthroat

A senior warrior, a few moons away from retirement, in a strained relationship with his brother. Rabbitfluff was actually the mentor of Berrystar (at the time Berrypaw). He was harsh in training, yelling and cursing his apprentices to be better, less weak and faster, fighting them in training as if they were a full grown warrior. But outside of training and on hunting trips, he was a simple cat, and could actually be quite playful. His old age and weakening joints have caused him to be less, and he got what would be his last apprentice (Horsebranch) moons ago, and they’re already a warrior, but he’s still remained kind, talking to apprentices about why he was being tough on them, and even joining their groups of friends if the younger cat could get past his gruff training techniques.

Berrypaw never could. She to this day resents her old mentor, refusing to give him any proper assignments around the territory, telling him to just go join the elders already.
