As we all know, due to ToA being (unfortunately) a small section of the fandom, the tags are often spammed with content unrelated to ToA, the events, and the characters within the books. I decided to make this blog so we could have a place without any of that and so we could easily share and find other Apollogists! <3

Content involving only pre-toa Apollo (and no post-toa)

Previous point goes for other characters as well (eg. Piper, Percy, Nico etc)

Solangelo / Perpollo etc content that is not clearly influenced by toa / does not involve other characters from toa

Content not focused on toa (eg. headcanon posts with only one or two headcanons about toa characters)

Anyone talking about the characters or the series in a negative way

Yk that one scene in TTT where Apollo contemplates praying to jupiter for help. yeah basically that a year later.

Here's a list of things I would describe as "lester"

- Struggling to open the tab on a soda can

- passing out/feeling sick/sitting out in PE (purely from exhaustion and just being that unfit)

- lying to get out of PE

- realizing you were wrong in a situation, having your first instinct be to get defensive, then reconsider and realize you can just say you were wrong

- iron deficiency

- saying something with absolute confidence and immediately being proven wrong. Like seconds after.

- having someone sarcastically compliment you and completely believing them

- hearing someone talk, thinking theyre talking about you, responding to them, and having it turn out they were talking about someone completely different

- Me. Sometimes.

- getting drunk with your ex and crying over the breakup with said ex (totally not based off of a real life situation...)

- drunk texting in general

time travel au where lester and meg from tower of nero suddenly end up in the original pjo timeline, get mistaken for runaway demigods, and proceed to be accidentally recruited into kronos’s army.

problem: they’re stuck on the princess andromeda. problem: they have to figure out how to stop kronos from rising without being discovered. problem: the fact that lester is quite literally the god apollo is unbeknownst to luke castellan, who very much dislikes (huge understatement) the gods.

what follows is that encounters with camp half-blood don’t go too well, considering they’re nominally on opposite sides. lester and luke have some complicated conversations about the gods and their parenting. apollo realizes belatedly that most of his kids haven’t died yet. in ways, the older-brother-younger-sister dynamic between lester and meg vaguely reminds luke of annabeth.

also the obligatory secret identity shenanigans (‘the gods doesn’t care about us, lester. apollo hasn’t done shit for you. you don’t owe him anything.’ ‘well. um. about that—’)

somehow this becomes a fix-it ??

i will never get over the fact that Apollo/Lester fully attempted to kill himself in order to save Meg, Piper, and Jason

and him immediately being like, no no no I do not deserve that kind of credit it wasn't a sacrifice cause obviously Madea was going to save me like I wasn't trying to die I knew I'd survive it was just a distraction that was it and like I didn't even aim for the heart so it wasn't even anything big

like bro whether or not you thought you'd survive is not the point, the point is that you stabbed yourself to save them, he fully stabbed himself in the chest with an arrow to save them, and like what if they were so fucking shocked and freaked out that he just did that that Madea couldn't react fast enough to save him, he stabbed himself in the fucking chest, what if they assumed he hit his heart or a lung and didn't even bother to try and save him

we need to talk about the fact Apollo

Ah content warning mention of physical assault ig

I recently reread - well relistened to the audiobooks of TOA and I was honestly taken aback by how graphic and dark they are from the start. The scene with Cade and Mikey was horrible! They kick Apollo in the face, they beat him up so bad he momentarily blacks out. This is graphic, violent assault capable of traumatising most anyone into not leaving the house for a good while, if it happened to them.

How did anyone start reading this book, with that opening scene and then went: "Psh Yeah what a pathetic loser, Percy was way cooler than this. I'm not reading this!"

Obviously it's cool if anyone didn't like the books for whatever reason, but it's honestly amazing Apollo didn't just sit down in that ally and cry for the rest of all 5 books after that opener. I wanted to cry after this!
