I haven’t seen any trailers for Ghosts season 5 but I have some ideas for storylines they might do:

-There will be a reveal that there are guardian angels just like how there are demons, like ghosts who get sucked off can come back to earth to protect people they care about. The only previous character at the moment that this could be is Sam’s mom, but, I can see PETE getting sucked off because he’s finally happy with Alberta and content with his growth as a person but he comes back in the nick of time to be their guardian angel and save his best friend Jay from eternal damnation

-A Halloween episode with Nigel asking to bring back Chris (the dinosaur stripper) and Isaac will be awkwardly trying to keep up the lie that Chris got sucked off and trying to sabotage the summoning but everyone just thinks he’s being petty/jealous. In the end Isaac reveals that Chris wasn’t sucked off and instead he left to go watch “footy” and he lied because he didn’t want to upset Nigel with the fact that the guy he smooched didn’t care enough to stay for him. Then Nigel will admit that…he also lied, he didn’t smooch Chris, they had a nice chat about dinosaurs but that was it. He just wanted to make Isaac jealous because Chris was the guy who ruined their engagement, and Isaac will be suprised but will say that Chris wasn’t the one who ruined it, it was him.

-A bizarro episode where we’re with the farnsby ghosts instead, and there’s an analogue for each of the main 8 at the house, we’ve already seen three parallels (Bjorn:Thor, Judy Fansby:Hetty, George the Gay Puritan:Isaac) so we’d see five more that are similar to the rest of the main 8, and maybe they have their own basement ghosts.

And my personal favorite idea:

-The publishing company will ask Sam if she’s interested in doing a sequel of Isaac’s book and they will specifically request for there to be a romance in it, since it’s YA. The episode will be similar to when Issac was first considering the book (they’ve done similar episodes in the past so it can be done again) so Isaac will be debating whether to make his character gay like him and is unsure if he’s ready to come out this publicly. Then, either Sam teaches Issac about Pride (causing all the ghosts to want to have a Pride parade at the mansion) or someone will tell him about how seeing a character that has the same sexuality as them in media helped them come out because they felt seen (though idk who that character could be though), either way, it causes Isaac to want to tell his truth and will agree to the romance story BUT THEN when Sam tells the book publisher that she is only doing a sequel if Isaac can be gay, they readily accept but they want Isaac to be paired with ALEXANDER HAMILTON because Sam wrote a lot of tension between them. “That wasn’t romantic tension that was just tension, I hated the man!”

Crowley invented the Penny Farthing bikes to make people look stupid while riding, but will never admit to it because Aziraphale spent the entirely of the 1880’s riding them around because he thought they were charming.

It kills me that Aziraphale’s first thought against going to heaven was “where would I get my coffee” and the pleasures of food is something that made him to “native” in the first place, but he’s willing to give all of that up for the sole reason that he could restore Crowley’s angel status. He’s willing to give up all of his earthly pleasures if it means he can be with Crowley forever.

re: swallowing rings in champagne. As someone who keeps snakes I feel like it would be the other way around? Aziraphale tries to be ~fancy~ and knows that Crowley doesn't eat, Crowley, sensing Aziraphale's nervousness just gulps the drink down in one gulp. Bye bye ring!

You’re completely right but we’re forgetting the obvious, it’s both options. Between them they’ve probably swallowed an entire hands worth of rings.

I wonder how many rings Aziraphale swallowed without noticing they were in his champagne before Crowley was able to actually propose to him.

I want to believe that Aziraphale’s look at the end of the season is a look of determination to shut down heaven, he already acknowledges that heaven is messed up and need to be fixed but I think that when the Metatron tells him that they’re planning the second coming he starts to plot. He was hesitant but the Metatron forces him to come and hearing about heavens plans seemingly convinces him, but I think it’s not to follow the plans but to stop them. Like obviously the second coming would mean the end of the world, so when he gets in that elevator I think his plan is to fool everyone that he is on their side, find the big red button and shut down heaven, hence the determined and self satisfied look.

Everyone is worrying about how Guillermo not being a vampire means he’s going to die and leave Nandor alone but why haven’t we thought about Guillermo asking Nandor to turn him so he’s a half vampire?? No killing people for blood and obviously he’s immortal cuz he aged a month when cured. It’s the perfect in between for him.

Like I want Nandor to say “You don’t want to be a vampire or a human?” And Guillermo saying “I just want to be with you”

My theory as to why Good Omens season 1 was narrated and season 2 wasn’t, God’s gone. Not dead, but I think she either got bored or just went on to something better and isn’t around to narrate. The Metaton wants Aziraphale not to actually lead but to be a figurehead while they run the show in the shadows and I suspect they’ve been running it pretending to be god for a while now ever since she dipped.
