If it's not too much trouble, do you think you could do a tutorial on coloring/shading hair to compliment the one you did on drawing hair?

tbh there's nothing special with the way I color hair because it's p much the same process I use forcoloring everything else + most of the times I just leave it at the flat colors and that's mostly color theory going on in my brain orz

you have any tips on drawing hair? I always think my way of drawing it makes it look stiff when I’m going for more of a fluid/fluffy vibe

I'm gonna do my best to explain my process!! I also tend to simplify and exaggerate a lot, so different artists might have different approaches

[also as a general tip: hair doesn't really sit on the cranium like some wrapping paper, there must be some distance to create volume!]

my process for drawing hair is usually 1) breaking down the shapes 2) finding a ""line of action"" for the hair to follow; I also try to consider gravity and the weight the hair has (while also trying to defy it with curls and such, when possible) (because I have more fun that way lmao) (and also because most anime characters' hair is fucked up)

as for fluffy hair, I tend to use more curves and bigger shapes when drawing them, or go the opposite route and add more strands of hair (still with curves tho 👍)

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays to those that don't celebrate Christmas! This is the (I think) last art that'll be posted before the new year. Introducing two characters into the same universe of Mila and Lynn; we have Charlie and Anne. They're a couple who are friends with Lynn and Mila.

Princess number two: Cinderella! Ella is just trying to live her life as one of the only adult Disney princesses. I am so glad that the sequels (Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time is actually pretty good) didnt force her to forgive her abusers, something many shows do nowadays. Anastasia had to work to get forgiveness, that's why she her redemption arc was great.

In my translation, Ella could be the mum of the Disney princesses. She's only 19 but she's the one that knows a lot more about life. The only one who would know more is Tiana. She's willing to help anyone but she desperately needs a break.

Should I draw Anastasia as well?

Digital Thursday!

I've decided to start writing Disney princesses with a modern twist. Here is the first Disney princess; Snow White. Now, the movie isn't that great. It's pretty dull. And the relationship between her and Florence is creepy as fuck. Snow White needs a reboot.

In my translation, Snow White is like the naive and innocent little sister of the Disney princesses. She's only 14, she trusts this random stranger giving her an apple, and she still believes that the woman trying to kill her, loves her. She must be protected.

Holy shit! I made that!

As some of you know, that is my CreepyPasta OC, Deliah Rogers, AKA, the Succubus of New York City. She's had a revamp from when she was created. Now, she has supernatural powers she was born with but she also has trauma! Religious trauma!

Long story short. Deliah's mother was a succubus and her father was a strict catholic man. The man was happy that he found a woman who was 'easy' but immediately killed her when he found out she was a demon. He knew that there was a chance that Deliah might be one too but he feels that it's unholy to kill a child so he decides to raise her like a human; also lying that her mother died giving birth to her.

Delilah is raised in a strict catholic household but when she gets into High School, she finds out about her heritage and tries out her powers of seduction and need for meat (animal meat. For now). This worked from when she was 16 till she was 18. This is her when she figures out her dad found out.

That was longer than I thought it would be 😂😅
