"Gosh, how do you even expect me to begin something like this...?"
The girl sighs, seemingly very depressed about something.
"Alright, here goes nothing..."
She perks up, seemingly wanting to appear determined to accomplish whatever goal she had.
"My name is Chiaki Nanami, the Ultimate Gamer. Every Ultimate student who's ever been in a Killing Game has been... forced into another one. A real one this time. No more simulations. Whoever dies here dies for real..."
She sighs.
"We really need your help to end this Killing Game! If you could, we all need a promo so we can spread the word and all survive."

🐻"What the heck? We'd make a portal to get in there and get you out but sadly we don't decide where it spawns"
🐰"This is horrible! Who would do something like that?!"
🐻"I hope... it's not me... again..."
"Nyeh... No, it's not you... It's the little pink rabbit you're next to, but... a different version..."
🐰"WAAAAH!? ME?!"
🐻"Monomi? Now that's something I'd love to see"
"Yes, afraid so. A different version of you, but the same character as a whole. Apparently, it was all of Monokuma's former abuse, though we believe she was reprogrammed by the mastermind."
Monokuma went silent as soon as his past abuse was mentioned, nonetheless, it was Sakura telling him about it.
🐰"That sadly does make sense... How are things going so far?"
"Unfortunately, someone has already been murdered. The Ultimate Team Manager, Nekomaru Nidai, was found deceased in a storage closet, and the Class Trial is about to begin."
🐻"Class Trial?!" Monokuma was doing his best to hide his excitement. "And! Do you perhaps have ideas on who may have done it?"
Monomi was too busy feeling sad for the loss.
"So far? Junko Enoshima and Kotoko Utsugi are our suspects. They saw Nekomaru heading to the courtyard, and followed. Then Nekomaru said he had to use the restroom, and only Junko saw him when he returned. That's the last any of us saw Nekomaru alive."

Monokuma gets a text from Chiaki. The one from Monomi's Killing Game.
"Call me. Now. It's urgent."
- @the-ultimate-punishment
*Monokuma sees this and gives her a call, worried.*
"Chiaki. What's wrong?" @the-ultimate-punishment
"It's Nekomaru. He's... He's been murdered. Kiyotaka, Toko, and I found his body, so now we're investigating. His skull was bashed in, and this statuesque clock of The Thinker was the murder weapon."
“Damn. And with an Ace Attorney weapon no less. Found any clues regarding the crime?”
"Ah, I've... played that game. Angie made the weapon, and it functions the same way. Unfortunately, there was no April May to witness the crime or give us an alibi. He was in a storage closet, and he must've been dragged there, because we found skid marks from the courtyard to the closet. See, our new school is modeled after old Victorian schools. Celestia is quite enjoying the atmosphere, if you can imagine, but I digress. So he was probably killed in the courtyard, but we've found evidence that indicates that he met there with his killer willingly, and was taken by surprise. The only people who saw him on the way were Junko and Kotoko, since Junko was painting Kotoko's nails."
She sniffles.
"We're all scared. If someone like Nekomaru can be so easily taken out... what does that mean for the rest of us?"
“I see. A classic trap of hook line and sinker. Did you ask Junko or Kotoko for more specific details about what they saw?”
"Not yet. Everybody is still looking for clues. We're waiting for the Class Trial for that. We've got about fifteen minutes until it commences."
“15 minutes. Turn on video chat and give me a look at Nekumaru’s corpse. Maybe there’s something you missed that I might spot.”
"Okay..."
Chiaki goes to the storage closet where Nekomaru's body is, and sets her phone down. It doesn't seem they missed anything... until Chiaki's phone falls, giving Monokuma a perfect look at the ceiling. There's blood on the ceiling, which there shouldn't be unless the murder was actually committed in the storage closet.
“Whoa. That’s a lot of blood on the ceiling. I wonder where all of that blood came from. And you said the murder weapon was the Thinker? Are you sure about that, or is that what the culprit wants you to think?”
"Eh?"
The others turn to look up at the ceiling, and Kyoko barks a command.
"Chiaki, investigate the courtyard again! Tell me how far the blood spans and if there was any splattering anywhere! This... looks too real to be faked."
"And look at this! Some of Nekomaru's clothing was torn, so this means the victim plainly struggled during the actual attack! He probably fought back against his attacker! They were lucky to have succeeded..."
“Something tells me that this planned murder took a rocky turn for the unexpected. Be sure to find any signs of a struggle/battle. If it was a battle, that hopefully that narrows do the killer. In the meantime, we need to figure out how that blood got onto the ceiling. Looking at it, it doesn’t look like Nekomaru’s blood wasn’t squirted upward. He had to have been slammed on the ceiling somewho.”
"Hm... Well, the storage closet is too short for Nekomaru and Gonta to fit in without crouching, and Hifumi couldn't fit in here at all. He definitely took multiple strikes to the base of the skull, and I don't think the first one was what killed him. Not to mention the fact that the back of his ankles were sliced open. Is it possible that Nekomaru fled from the courtyard and hid here, knowing his killer wouldn't suspect it, but then hit his head? That would explain the blood trail with his ankles, and the sound could've alerted the killer to his location, where the killer came to finish the job."
“So the big guy tried to escape from his killer, but got caught anyway. It seems that whoever planned the big guys death made a few errors. Found any sharp objects that might belong to someone? Maybe they still have some traces of Nekumaru’s blood. It may help narrow down who dunnit.”
"Like Chiaki said, the murder weapon was created by Angie, so right now, she's a suspect in the death. The question is, how could someone like Angie, who's already suspicious enough on her own, successfully trick Nekomaru and successfully kill him with her lack of strength?"
"..."
“Exactly. It might not be Angie. It’s too obvious and there’s no way in hell Tenko’s Aikido training would enough to take someone that strong on her own.”
“Kotoko? Something on your mind? You seems.....uncertain.”
"I just don't like you. I'm the same Kotoko you beat the absolute fuck out of. I have every right to be a little on edge seeing your face."
Sayaka gives her a disapproving stare, and Kotoko sighs as she shrugs.
"But Big Sis Junko and I saw Nekomaru as he went to the courtyard."
“Oh right. Sorry about that. I promise to do you a massive solid once I get you guys out of there. Anyway, did you notice anything odd about him at the time?”
"I-I don't wanna tell him, Big Sis Sayaka..."
Sayaka kneels down and kisses the small girl's forehead delicately.
"I promise you, he's safe."
"Well... If you're sure..."
Kotoko takes a deep breath.
"He told us he was going to meet with Souda-San, so Big Sis Junko and I went with him. While we were in the courtyard, Nekomaru said he had to go use the restroom, and he said it in a very vulgar way, mind you! Anyway, he was gone for hours before Toko, Chiaki, and Kiyotaka managed to break down the door. Since the blood trails to the courtyard and back, I assume he got there after we left when he was attacked."
“So he went to the bathroom, and he was attacked around that time. If the blood trail went leads to the storage room, then where is the trails starting point? Let’s try to back track on the blood trail and see where it started.”
At that moment, Chiaki returns with Sonia.
"Aha! Chiaki have found minimal splattering in the courtyard. A little, but not enough to have caused his head injury. This seems to imply that he was first attacked in the courtyard, but that the murder itself was committed here in the storage closet. So far, only Sayaka, Kotoko, Chiaki, you, Junko, and I know about this."
Monokuma gets a text from Chiaki. The one from Monomi's Killing Game.

Like does the mastermind know everyone in their past lives or something?
"Ahh! They've met most of them, yeah!"
Fine *I put her down* can I at least give us a hint?
"That depends. What do you mean by 'hint'?"
Omg *I grab her* tell us who is the mastermind is and let them go they been enough already
"Noooooope~! Can't do that~! Puhuhuhuhu~! Now if you don't put me down, I'll be forced to punish you as I would any of my students!"
Damn is the mastermind Usami?
"Oh, no, no, no, no! The mastermind is actually controlling me! I'm the headmistress of this fine institution!"
Hey if you are the mastermind show yourself now

Monokuma gets a text from Chiaki. The one from Monomi's Killing Game.
"Call me. Now. It's urgent."
