Sorry I spoke too much about a homoerotic villainous sword and shield war criminal couple from problematic 2018 Indian propaganda period drama Padmaavat. It will happen again.

im doomed by the narrative but the narrative is a bunch of conscious choices i've made in the past
all dressed up and no one to be
“The pain of being left alone will never leave you the memories of being loved and treasured will always haunt you.”
The weight of being a woman is great tonight and I suffer a great feeling of emptiness I long to carve out my uterus, and ask my mother how many days she cried after finding out she was having me. I wonder if when she hugs me if she’s hit with that same feeling of despair. Girlhood is short but significant. I too base my decisions for my future on my mothers failures. How easy it is to say I could do better by not doing. The band aid that protected you from infections will always end up hurting you. Their best will never be enough for girlhoods greed. There is something deep with in me that plagues my core. Rot some would call it, others rage. I have yet to find a term for the exposed wires and muck that burn electrical fires wildly in my stomach. How much of sleep talk is just wild mutterings how much is your heart speaking? How many of the pains are phantom?
Happy belated Mother’s Day

I AM NOT INTERESTED IN LIVING A LIFE WHERE I COWER AWAY FROM BEAUTY OR GOODNESS BECAUSE OF THE POTENTIAL TO BE HURT. I AM BARRELING TOWARD IT. LIFE IS GOING TO CRACK ME OPEN LIKE A PIÑATA AND I AM GOING TO LET IT.
Walking with the Wind, Abbas Kiarostami (translated by Michael Beard)

Feels like too many people have forgotten that everyone on earth also has feelings and interior lives and experiences and are themselves entire universes that exist beyond the current and fleeting moment…
Henrik Ibsen, from Six Plays by Henrik Ibsen; "A Doll's House," written in 1879
Unconditional love isn't a free pass to hurt me.
bitch this is all you’re gonna get. this life, this face, this body. you better not ‘maybe in another universe’ your way out of everything. sit your ass down and face this. go make tea and have a picnic and read a goddamn book. kiss your loved ones, send that damn text, and hug your siblings. this is all you’re gonna get.
