Let's restart this prayer train 🙏🏻🚞 In the last 3, 4, 5, 7, 10+ years this community, this state, this country and this world has lost so many lives. Precious lives. Vibrant, genuine, loving, caring, kind, beautiful souls. We are being faced with an epidemic. Children are being left without parents, and parents without children. Siblings are being left as the only child and wives without husbands and husbands without wives. Partners without their other half. They are all left to live with only memories. Countess opportunities will be lost. There will be no opportunity to hold them again. To wave to them as they get on the school bus at their first day of school. To see their smile and excitement as they are dropped off on their first date. To console them after their first break up or at the break of bad news. To be there on graduation day, their wedding day, the birth of their first or second child, to just be there, every day when they come home, or to be able to pick up the phone when they have a problem or just to say Hello, and I love you. All those crucial moments, those gifts of life will be lost. No matter how much time goes by it doesn't hurt any less. There is not a day that will go by that they will not wish that they could see their mother or father or sister or brother or daughter or son or husband or wife or friend or colleague or acquaintance. So let us pray. What we pray for will be different. Some for more treatment centers, some for a cure, some for a miracle, some for a better system, some for a spiritual awakening for their loved one, some for a spark of hope, some for safety, some for something more drastic, some for new laws, some to do their best to help each person the best they can, some for strength, some for courage, some for willingness. Whatever it is lets do it together. No one need suffer or die from the horrors of active addiction. There is hope, there is another way.
