A Vincent van Gogh self-portrait in pastels. Not the best, the proportions ended up a little off, but it was a fun exercise trying out pastels for the first time.

Zoete honing.

hoor eens: ik kan de pen blijven voeren met zoete woorden, maar toch mijn hoofd kan alleen maar schrijven over draaikolken over vuur over razende natuur dit zijn geen vlinders maar een zwerm bijen die hun koningin missen zij wisten ook niet waar haar lichaam lag allang begeven onder de spanning van ondergegane schepen uitgebluste vlammen uitgekust verlangen en ik proef alleen maar zoete honing
