kinda sucks that since re-realising I'm nonbinary I haven't been able to consider much about my identity without subconsciously putting myself back in a box and hating it, or not taking myself seriously at all.

I'm starting to think I wouldn't have thought of myself as a binary trans guy for so long if there wasn't this impression of enbies being childish or inherently mentally incapable in some way that degrades us. I wanted to 'let myself grow up', and being a man felt like a more mature category to be in.

I hate how pervasive the gender binary is in every aspect of our lives to the point it's still infiltrating parts of my mind, and has resulted in nonbinary people being categorised in usually somewhat insulting ways that hinder me from fully understanding my own self.

my problem is i think every character concept can be improved by making them a little nonbinary. this has created a comically unrealistic concentration of People With A Weird Gender Thing Going On in my stories and i will not be stopping any time soon. im genders georg.
