you may have seen me post about fidaa’s campaign @fidaa-family2 (this is a verified campaign)

fidaa is a 29 year old woman from gaza with two very young children, muhammed and sila, one of whom was born during the war. her home was destroyed and she’s been displaced many times, and is currently separated from the rest of her family- her husband, her many siblings, and her parents. i can only imagine how nerve-wracking this is.
she’s doing her best to take care of her children by herself, despite facing hunger, thirst, widespread disease, and the threat of death. the other day, there was intense bombing near her and another family close to her was killed. life in gaza right now is hell and she told me they feel like they are just waiting for their turn to die.
fidaa and i talk often, and i feel lucky to know her. she’s an incredibly strong person, she travels long distances to find limited supplies for her kids and helps her siblings raise money even though shes separated from them.
but she needs help. the situation in gaza is so bad right now, the idf is preventing aid from entering and the food, water, and medicine available are extremely expensive. please share and donate to help her and her children survive and eventually leave gaza
I am Fidaa from Gaza. I am 29 years old. I stand before you as a person trying to preserve his fami… Abby S needs your support for Help Fida
$18,738 out of $30,000
Thank you all. I hope you will support me to save my life and the lives of my children🇵🇸🍉🍉
i was talking to fidaa and she told me her daughter sila is sick and she has been very busy caring for her. it really broke my heart to read these messages from her… i can only imagine how painful it is knowing your child is suffering but having very few means to do anything about it. its so horrific the conditions people are living in right now
pleas keep sharing and donating, your donations are a lifeline to her family
$24,213 raised of $30,000
just a reminder to donate to fidaa, she has been displaced again multiple times recently and only narrowly avoided death when there was bombing near by her. her kids are still sick, and theyre terrified by the bombing. she had to raise the campaign goal due to all the expenses of dealing with displacement and illness, so please share and donate
as of September 14th, fidaa has had to increase the goal because the worsening genocide has made their surroundings even more hazardous, including a dangerous and uncontained polio outbreak due to the Israeli government's destruction of water and waste management infrastructure, and basic necessities and medical care are severely limited, extremely difficult to find, and increasingly more expensive.
last Friday (sept 27), israel bombed a neighborhood extremely close to where she was sheltering with her young children. she was so close that she was able to send me a video of it happening in real time from the window of the building she was in. she told me that the news no longer reports on what places are safe - because nowhere is safe.
despite having been polio-free for 25 years, gaza is now suffering a growing epidemic of this highly contagious, deadly virus that it does not currently have the resources to address or contain. the polio vaccine cost $150 in the medical tents for her young son Muhammad; however, she spent an entire day searching for a vaccine for her daughter Sila, but there wasn't one available. unless scientists in gaza are given the time and resources to develop and administer more vaccines, or humanitarian organizations can get inside to vaccinate on a massive scale, far too many children will be unprotected from this disease while they are also forced to deal with contaminated water and exposed sewage.
Israeli forces are still not allowing any resources or aid through the borders and have blocked the roadways. what little food anyone can get is canned, and people who haven't quit smoking due to the exorbitant prices have resorted to smoking tree leaves, resources are so scarce. survivors have little to no access to clean drinking water, which makes their exposure to contaminated water even more dire. fidaa scarcely can get artificial milk for Muhammad and her children are often tired or combating symptoms of illness because of the circumstances. she goes to great lengths to care for them, but you can help!
by sharing this post on your platforms and with people you know directly, you can help spread awareness of what Palestinians in gaza are going through and increase visibility of fidaa's campaign. you will be keeping people informed and bolstering support of Palestine, as well as helping fidaa's fundraiser reach more people who can further share and donate, and in doing so, you're helping her and her children get closer and closer to evacuation!
if you can, you'd make a huge direct impact by donating too! you will help fidaa purchase basic supplies, urgent medical care, and shelter for her family, and evacuation so she and her children can leave the war zone and rebuild their lives.
im making this post because she has unstable internet and Tumblr voraciously bans Palestinians in need, so there is a possibility she may reach a point where she can no longer access the social media accounts, but her campaign will still need funds. I have made a commitment to sharing every fundraiser I come across and donating when I can afford it.
I would like to ask you to commit to sharing at least 1 gaza campaign every day and donating even a small amount to one whenever you can afford it. I know you want them to experience lasting peace, security, health, and happiness as much as I do. with these simple actions, you can help them achieve that. Palestine WILL be free.
