Why the hell do Lappland (from Arknights) and my Toram Online character, Vetur Rose (image not found) look absolutely unhinged in battle. Like I cannot pinpoint it, artwork of Lappland seem to be more unhinged, but god damn, I somehow managed to score a fitting look for a slightly battle-ready, psychopathic warrior who takes a small pleasure in battle but soon after feels remorse
To my fellow motherduxkers who follow me.
How're y'all?
Update!
I was given my pronouns back
My pronouns, He/Him, was stolen by my friend. I guess for today I am a They/Them?
Blade Hero
The Blade Hero is characterized by the greatsword, starting out as a bastard sword, that they wield. One of the fifth cardinal heroes that could be summoned towards the beginning of the Waves of Destruction, and one of the weaker Fifth Heroes, the blade hero, statwise, is a fucking glass cannon. With high attack that can get through that of a Shield Hero, already over 3 digits large (102 base attack), however having single digit defenses (4 Defense and 6 Magic Defense), most battles that the Blade Hero has advantages and disadvantages in the first strike. If the Blade Hero cannot kill with the first blade strike, or outpace their foe, then there is a high chance that they will be put onto the defensive, where they might be killed.
The current Blade Hero, at least in my AU thingy, don’t know what to actually call it, is Ulfur “Okami” Beowulf. While an Icelandic Man in heritage, for the past 3, grueling years, he’s lived in Tokyo, somewhere where he is vastly uncomfortable, as the summers are scorching hot, there’s no real beautiful landscape (Icelandic Lands are fucking open and gorgeous, should visit them), and he had left all of his true friends when his family moved. His first name means Wolf in Icelandic, while the nickname Okami was given to him because it was the direct/rough translation of his name. He particularly dislikes Japan mainly because of the troubles he’s been through to actually survive schools and gain a damn job as a HEMA practitioner and one of the only Icelandic Restaurant owners in Japan.
He never truly died to become a Blade Hero, he nearly did, but he survived, to an extent. During a Kendo vs HEMA sparing match, someone had traded out the dull metal katana of his opponent with a sharpened steel one. He would’ve won with his albion maximilian sword, as the superior reach and, to many of the otakus that had joined to see the match surprise, infamous speed of the wide arcs used in the blade would have protected him from fatal blows. Keeping the enemy at bay was easy, but because he had to abide by the rules of Kendo somewhat, instead of the freedom of an actual swordfight, he was defeated by a single slice of the katana, since both were unarmored, he nearly died that day, if not for the tournament being called off and him being rushed to the hospital. While still recovering, essentially he became comatose, called into another world for reasons unknown to him.
His party is small, consisting of himself, a Fox Demi-Human Berserkir (Norseman equivalent of a Paladin in some texts, wielding a dane axe and spadone as primary weapons, with a crossbow for backup) and a Human Knight (he wields a bastard sword and tower shield, and is the defensive guy of the group), along with a Warg Wolf. In canon, he’s fought mythical creatures like the Hafgufa, Kraken, and Chimera, with the Hafgufa and the Lyngbakr being his toughest fights ever, as he quite literally was going up against a level 102, colossal sea creature who was big enough to sail a large galleon through its jaws alone and one who could be described as a sinking island.
Makimg a new AU because why the fuck not. Main changes of this is that it merges Deltarune with Earthbound, two of my three favorite games.
Main change is that Deltarune has this wierd thing called PSI. Think of it as if it were Magic, but only certain individuals, more common in Humans, but monsters like Sans do have it, can use it, and they are referred to as Psionics, or Psychics. At base level, a Psychic can only move things around with their mind and use telepathy. Powerful Psychics like King Poo and the deceased couple Ness and Paula, along with Ness' elder cousin Ninten, can heal entire body parts, cause a tremendous amount of lightning to strike from their hands, and even shake stars to send small, 4 foot droplets of plasma hurtling towards the enemy. Other, more specific PSI users tend to practice only a handful of PSI, such as Sans and his powerful Telekinesis, PSI Beams (in replacement of Gaster Blasters because fuck those appearantly, they don't exist in canon of Deltarune as far as I'm aware), and Warpslip Ω, an ability thought to only be usable by Ninten as an Alpha PSI ability, can use far more powerful versions of weaker PSI or more situational PSI, s seen with Sans and his PK Beam Ω, which was thought to be impossible to perform before he performed it.
For those who aren't aware of Earthbound, why haven't you played it, the entire series is actually pretty fucking good, Undertale was inspired by the fuckers. Back on track, for those who don't really know how PSI works, I'll just give the three categories and and four...five power levels. Remember that certain PSI do not follow the rules of Power Levels, such as, before Sans cracked the code, Warpslide being only one power level and only ever being used to teleport short distances away from the enemy. The categories are Offensive, Healing, and Support. Offensive are all psionic abilities that are orientated towards harming your foe, utilizing emotions, energies, or brute psychic power to damage foes. Healing is anything that helps heal the body, either from things like Stone, Diamondization, Poison, or healing body parts. Assist is generally Defense, Ability Enhancers, Shields, and certain variations of signature PSI abilities (Ninten used to have Warpslip, Ness has PK Rockin', with variations called PK Origin and PSI Rockin', two twins, who live in Hometown, recently moved, named Lucas and Claus, have PK Love, and Kris has PK Prankin', subject to change, but that's the only thing I got about their personality other than they were somewhat creepy). Now, Power Levels. Alpha is the weakest level, then Beta is the second weakest. Gamma is basically the highest some go, but is the second weakest. Omega isnthe strongest any PSI user can use an ability at, unless you are a cosmic eldritch deity of hate and evil, then nobody can even comprehend your attacks, let alone take the attack without being basically the universe's chosen hero against said cosmic horror.
Not much else changes, except that Claus and Lucas join the Fun Gang, Ness and Paula are Kris' biological parents, Kris is a Psychic, weak at first and better off hitting things with their sword, but will get to the Lightning Power of his mother in due time, and there is no Snowgrave route. The variation is just Kris being consumed by the idea that their Psionic Powers could reach such levels as to kill gods, and basically abandons all reason and becomes a murderous maniac who electrocutes, incinerates, and freezes all creatures in his path, eventually leading them to become possessed by a piece of Giygas (the aforementioned cosmic horror) and Chara is just out of the picture now because fuck them, they backseated the Genocide Run and couldn't kill Giygas even with a timeline reset. If Chara is evil, then Giygas has mastery over them because he is basically the Incorporeal God of Psionic Abilities, Malice, Hatred, and pure and unbridled Evil. Luckily, that is also an alternate timeline to the canon Deltabound AU.
Anyway, thank you for seeing my rambling about an AU that probably won't ever get updated, see you, bye
Why do these two Pokémon resonate in my goddamn soul. It is like the fucking Yin and Yang of me. Viking and Weeb, Happy-go-lucky and Edgelord. Me when I get out of bed and me 30 minutes later
The Ghost of Ireland
The Ghost of Ireland was his title, many would think he was long dead, fighting in the afterlife, but many didn’t know of his heritage. Nearly two-hundred years old, the wood elf known as Cillian Mactyr is by far one of the most feared living legends to walk the earth, alongside Able, the Fallen Angel of War, and Kattri, the Angel of Death. Unlike many badass characters in this comic series, Cillian was never born of divine, magical, or demonic means, but just a man who refused to die, even when his guts were spilled out and the Cleric of Lugh that fought with him was beaten down. He is by far the most muscular of all wood elves, broad shoulders suggesting a heritage that was mixed with either humans or orcs at some point in the past. Wielding a Freezing Claymore known as Hoarfrost, and with a primal yet primordial understanding of rage, and how it can be controlled to further his strength, along with nearly two-hundred years of war, fighting, and honing both his skills and body, Cillian would rival the Cu, along with Heracles and maybe even Kratos from the God of War series, in terms of outright power.
If translated into D&D, he would looks somewhat like this: Level 20 Barbarian (Zealot)/Level 15 Fighter (Battlemaster), 28 Str, 24 Dex, 30 Con, 12 Int, 20 Wis, 14 Cha.
As for his appearance, he can be seen as a very muscular and tall wood elf, standing at 6′5, and weighing in around 250 lbs., with pale-ish copper skin, flecks of green thrown in there, and luxurious, amber eyes. His hair, long and flowing like a streaming cloak, a dark, chestnut brown, A scar runs down his face, through the stubble-like beard he has, cut off by his neck, and resumed across his chest, with a second, older, yet smaller scar across his chest, forming an “X” formation.
Deltarune AU. Don't know what to call it.
A small AU thing that I have spurring around my head.
It takes a more fantasy approach. Basically medieval with some steampunk and maybe cyberpunk styles.
Kris: Kris in this is mostly seen as a Guy, though it is mainly because back in medieval times, one really didn't have nonbinary options. However, he doesn't seem inclined towards being either a man or woman and simply doesn't care if someone mistakes him for a woman. In fact, there are a lot of people who think he is indeed just a somewhat brawny woman, and he doesn't even care about this. His full name is Kristopher von Dreemurr, and his role in both his family and his party is to be somewhat of an infantryman, knight, general, tactician, somewhat nobleman type of person, who's silent, strategic, yet somewhat dumb as he is still only 16 years old. He is unique amongst his fellow humans in the fact that he seems to have prophetic dreams that almost always happen within a year's time of each event. For example, when he was 6, he had a dream where the heir to the Dreemurr fortune would nearly be assassinated by Chara, a maniacal little shit of a girl who put out a sweet attitude. This saved Asriel and eventually led to Chara's execution. He leads the Mercenary group known as the Knights of the Dark (subject to change, based on the fact that the Fuck Squad exists mainly in the Dark World, where four out of eight and counting members reside). His title for reasons I will not explain is Kris, the Dreaming Knight.
Susie: Susie is practically unchanged in everything except for outfit and ethnicity. She is a Dragon Viking who got caught up in Kris' mercenary affairs one day after encountering Ralsei, and now is Kris' best friend and the only one who can seem to get Kris out of his military mindset in front of others, while Noelle used to be the only one that Kris seemed to open up to out of anyone, which started rumors of Kris and Noelle bedding each other, leading to a strict, militaristic kicking, resulting to about 25% of the merc group being fired. She used to run with the Sons of the Snow, a Norseman raiding unit and general guild based off of multiple guilds that I run in different online games. Her title is Susie, Draconic Berserker.
Ralsei: Ralsei is a kind, gentle, yet, at times, a smartass bastard of a Cleric of the Dark Angel (Dark World variant of the Angel). He fights mainly with a whip-like scarf that is made to incapacitate and not kill. However, his healing magic is probably the finest anyone of his age could ever achieve, though he is lacking in offensive magic except for Flame Strike, a powerful, mid-tier spell that, story-wise, is a tad-bit weaker than Snowgrave, not instantaneously killing but almost always extremely fucking dangerous. His church sent him on a quest to prevent the Roaring, and find three heroes, other than himself, to combat the Roaring. He is the son of an unknown king. His title is Ralsei, the Prince, and Cleric of the Dark Angel.
Noelle: Noelle has vastly changed from her Dark World self. While still as gay as ever, having the eyes for some sweet Viking ass, she isn't an Ice Wizard, but a Ranger, using tactics akin to Kris', but not quite so, mostly being the girl you go to when Kris has no fucking clue where Here is. She was the second to join the Knights of the Dark, seeing as how Kris was a childhood friend of hers, and she wanted to help protect, and is the third in command, next to Susie. Her full name is Noelle aan Holidas, and her mother was the former Jarl of a northern settlement, while her father was a Ranger, just like her. Her title is Noelle, Slayer of Dragons (Both for the fact that she has slain a fully grown Hydra and a pun of an innuendo. *cough cough* Layer of Dragons *cough cough*).
That is all. I will go to bed and speak of Lancer, Rouxls Kaard, and Starwalker another time.
A thing I notice here on the Kriselle thing. Snowgrave Kris is abusive. I say nay. Not by the fact that I love more wholesome content in shipping, but by the fact that canonically, Kris didn't fucking want to do the Snowgrave route. Like, he may be fucked up to some extent, but he isn't abusive and manipulative or murderous No, that's the soul's doing. Kris only gets the consequences. The Soul is behind the trigger, but Kris is the firearm. Many say that if we take away Guns, we solve school shootings. That is the comparison.
(To me, Kris is a masculine nonbinary, do not fucking argue with me, that's how I see it. Opinions are OK, but when someone is downgrading someone else for their opinions like any of your input matters in the grand scheme of things on the internet, just because you can act like someone else and be the tough guy or gal or nb that you want to be, just remember that we're all dumbasses who use the same hellsite and simply just want to look at cute images of cats and dogs)
Headcannons of Deltarune (And some Undertale)
So. Fuck Squad Gang
Yeah, you heard me. F u c k. S q u a d.
Anyway, this is a Headcannon thing.
Firstly. while most of you may have not noticed a lot of my mentioning of Kris as a he, I have, and still do, believe this: Kris is more masculine, Chara is more feminine, and Frisk is just vibing.
The whole “Is Susie the Gayness??” thing. Shut up, if I have any say in it, then she’s a bisexual who doesn’t understand the concept of both romantic and sexual relationships and has had both Kris’ and Noelle’s, possibly Berdly’s if he didn’t immediately get decked in the face by Susie or choked out by Noelle, flirtatious, bashful, and overall awkward teen romantic feelings fall flat on her. At the very least, she seems to have something for Ralsei, other than the possible She’s Bullying the Fluffy Boi to get his attention thing, they seem to have a strong relationship akin to romantic partners but not quite there yet.
Noelle. I enjoy both Krusie and Kriselle, I really do, but Noelle is a teenager, she is most definitely gay, but maybe bisexual??? Teenager shinanigans. I am going through them, I’m a straight guy, but Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher 3 has got me fucked up, so I know that it is possible that Noelle might be bisexual or at the very least gay with a certain attraction to Kris for no appearant reason but the fact that, like me with Geralt, she is fucking confused, knowing she’s gay and not attracted to men or masculine nonbinaries (as I know that most of you are going to scream at me for calling Kris a He) but somehow she finds Kris sorta attractive.
Kris is not the fucking Knight. All we know is that Kris was trying to convince Undyne that the Dark World exists, but he ain’t the knight in my book.
Nubert. My Man.
The Dealmakers. After the whole spamton ordeal, like Susie seeming to always carry the Devil’s Scythe (I call it that, nobody else does but I call it that), Kris can be seen, both in the Dark World and out, wearing a set of fashionable glasses on his forehead. Spamton resides in them, occasionally popping into Kris’ vision when he wears them over his eyes (he has slightly below average eyesight, and, turns out, the glasses found in the lab that make up Spamton, along with the Spam Email and a set of wires that seem...rough and not very good to use, are the exact prescription he needs to see fully without objects that are right in front of his face, about 6 inches away, being blurry) to encourage Kris and to help with making good and reasonable deals with owners of shops in the Dark World. Noelle has noted that they look kind of funny yet oddly fitting on Kris, but when Susie or Berdly try them on, Noelle states “... ... No. They stay on Kris. Seems he is the only one to looks good in them”.
Kris has two souls. He can’t live without his Green soul, and since the Red soul is a parasite who just one day said “Hey, wouldn’t it be cool if I tried to take over this kid who has anxiety and is trying to cope with the fact that both his brother’s gone and that his childhood crush is swooning over the school bully? Oh, That was easy. Hey, Kris, wouldn’t it be funny if I forced you to say things that you don’t want to say to Noelle and force you to force her to kill an annoying yet somewhat tolerable birb? That would be funn-Wait, why are you trying to resist?!” he can live without it, its just that, strangely enough, it hurts to live without it, but after weeks and about, before college, a year of going without it, he has described that he has difficulty tolerating it at worst, and feels amazing and doesn’t feel in pain without the soul at best.
Be back with some more
So how about that war between Monsters and Humans in Undertale?
How the fuck did humans win?! Monsters are beings made of pure magical energies, and have a wide range of danger levels, powers, and strengths, from being non-existent in terms of power to being the God of motherfucking Hyper Death. Sure, one can say that if Gods of Hyperdeath exist, then gods like King Enma, Lugh, Odin, Zues, and superhumans like CĂşChulainn and Heracles would exist, but, then again, the CĂş would already be dead, hanging by his guts and belt, tied to a mighty stone, by the time the war broke out and even if he was still alive, he'd be seen as more of a monster than human due to the fact that his special ability basically warps him into a horrifying beast that is more grotesque than the Amalgamations and with the strength to make Deltarune Undyne look like a toddler compared to the beast spawned by the Warpspasm, who's only weakness is a woman's titty and the flesh of dogs, so Humans would go after him since a human who transforms into a terrifying monster of Irish myth and legend would make the Humans terrified, and the Gods wouldn't intervene because Humans are assholes and deserve what is coming to them for instigating the war
So, not sure if anyone is subscribed tp my Sister on YouTube, but in her series, the Companions, I will be voice-acting Jaide Zinnia, a monster hunter who uses blood magic, a whip, and a claymore.
