Charlie Griak at the Cinequest world premiere of THE CENTER.
Listen here to writer/director Charlie Griak, producer Wendy Griak and actor Matt Cici talk about The Center on KFJC 89.7 FM Thoughtline 3/2/15.
A comparison between some of my initial storyboards and the final frames from my feature film THE CENTER. I always love seeing these on the DVD bonus features of a film so I thought it would be interesting to look back at how the plan compared with the final product with my own work.
"Whatever's caused you to turn away from us, I'm sure we can fix it."
I am so thrilled to announce that THE CENTER will have its world premiere screening at the 25th Anniversary Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, CA! Please click here for further details!

"I don’t direct a film, I set up an atmosphere and the atmosphere directs the film.

I like to think that if I sketch these great cinematic images, they will somehow be absorbed into my mind and come out in whatever I film next.
"And you think if you save poor Catherine, you could make them stop, don’t you? You think if Catherine lives, you won’t wake up in the dark ever again to that awful screaming of the lambs." - The Silence of the Lambs (1991) (X)
