Any Young People Gonna Be On Cruise To The Edge 2025?
I know this is mostly a Saga blog (and a very inactive one at that) but hot damnnn I love progrock in general and that lineup is killer so I'm going on CTTE this year :)
Outside of Saga, I'm mostly interested in IQ, Steve Hackett, Rick Wakeman, Moon Safari, Thank You Scientist, Karmakanic, and The Beggs Sisters, but I'll be damned if I don't catch as many shows as possible!
Thing is...I'm in my early/mid twenties, so I fear I might just be the youngest person on the ship! I'm gonna be posting this on other progrock forums too, but figured I'd start on tumblr, as I know tumblr's userbase skews younger so if there are young fans going, I'm likely to find them here.
Obviously I'm happy to chill with older fans too (I'm going with some!) but would cool to be with people my age, especially queer-friendly people, and also people who are interested in other things the cruise has to offer too (excursions, anyone? I'm mostly going for the music, of course, but I'll be damned if I don't get off the boat to touch grass/ocean!)
Hey folks, I was hoping I wouldn't need to do this again, but after talking to my partner we thought it might be helpful to try. We're a trans woman and an enby who could use the help right now.
My partner's mother just passed away less than a week ago, and my partner is devastated. I'm doing my best to be supportive in a particularly difficult time, but I'm also struggling with schoolwork as well. The most important thing we need right now is a bit of extra money to help with groceries and gas.
We are very aware that there are many people on this site who need help more severely right now, and we don't want to take attention from them. If you only have 20$ to give, go find a vetted fundraiser from gaza. They need it more. I have shared multiple on this blog already- and they should take immediate precedent.
That being said, if you have extra to give, the help would be immense, and it would go a long way to helping us in a difficult time, and making sure we can continue to eat and get around through all this. Thank you.

Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.

prog rock fans love to say shit like “you have GOT to listen to tin salad universe by the scrungle lads”
I AM IN A SAGA MUSIC VIDEO!
'Symmetry' is due out on March 12th, 2021 on earMUSIC.
Saga’s coming out with a new album in March!
All I want in life is a staged version of The Chapters! Like, a musical theatre adaptation, I mean. Saga On Broadway.
I’d “write” it (Obviously I would not be composing it, but I’d love to direct, write out the staging, and add scenes) but come on...That’s unrealistic.
I think my blog is the first of its kind! This is a fan-blog dedicated to Saga, especially The Chapters and all the sci-fi and history that it is based on!
I’ve been a fan since I first heard Don’t Be Late in 2012, in a Star Wars speedpaint animation that I saw on youtube, lol. DBL remains my favorite Saga song, or at least my favorite Chapters song to this day! It took me a few months to listen to the rest of the band’s music and even longer to listen to The Chapters, strangely enough, but now I love them.
I think I’m younger than most Saga fans. I was in middle school on that fateful day in 2012 when I first heard them singing. I’m also one of the few US-based Saga fans, I think.
I’m happy to start this blog. BTW, my blog theme is called “Space Race.”
