Okay I know I'm incredibly late but Tlou the show was genuinely bad. It's not just the casting, even though they could have definitely steered clear of Bella Ramsey. I loved Pedro as Joel. And the fact that they made Ellie literally stupid in the second season despite the fact that Ellie was quite literally the fucking terminator in tlou2 the game was wild. Ellie is alive in the show because of plot armor. And Dina just fully being the brains just contradicts the themes. It was a team effort definitely and Ellie was in charge of carrying the ideas out. She wasn't a complete idiot that folded and screamed when she was even approached by a zombie. In the game Ellie literally murders hundreds of people AND infected in order to get to Abby. I actually like Jesse in the show because he literally is just Ellie's damn babysitter. Ugh i just hate how we directed the whole plot basically to Dina being the brains and to Ellie being a dumbass. That's not my Ellie.
Also, don't hate me, but Abby not being buff definitely reduces her character. Now hear me out...Abby was only built like a brick wall on steroids and protein shakes because she trained to find Joel for years, so her strength isn't just for fashion or anything. It's a testament to her determination. But the actress is phenomenal. Can't deny that.
Physical appearance isn't a huge issue until it is and they're kinda just casting anyone to the roles. First season, phenomenal. Second season, terrible. Overall, opinions vary. But I'm telling you, as someone that played and beat both of the games and loved them, it's one million times better.
I'm so glad this fandom is still fun as hell a year after cancellation. It's gotten smaller for sure, but the people who are still here rock.

Prompt: Alive AU. Charles is a detective and Edwin is a famous mystery author who managed (with the help of his influence and money) to get permission to shadow Charles at his job because he wants to properly get in the mind of a detective so he can write better stories. Charles is obviously pissed that this random rich asshole sweet talked his way into “helping” Charles with his cases, but he figures that if he manages to one-up the guy then he’ll leave before his pride gets seriously injured.
The problem? Edwin keeps solving the cases before he does, because he has a wider range of forensic and mortuary knowledge than Charles. This starts a war between the two men, who keep trying to prove that they’re better than the other.
In the end they learn that they work really well together, and if they both see past their first impressions of each other, their rivalry could just as easily turn into a love story.

I was going insane because I finished Feel Good (Great show btw) So I watched First Kill. Also a great show, and I loved it! However, I didn't love the massive cliffhanger, then realizing it was cancelled AND that I was three years late. (These were supposed to be comfort shows after I finished Arcane) Feel Good only numbed about 28.4% of that pain. And First Kill just flushed all of that down the toilet
I have to say that when I started the show First Kill, I didn't expect the two heroines, Calliope & Juliette, to make each other cum against a fucking tree outside, where anyone could see ?! All in episode 4 ?! Literally, this scene caught me off guard. 😂

I really want to write a fanfiction but I don't know where to start. I have concepts, headcanons, and some ideas for a fanfiction...But I just can't bring myself to write one. When I've tried it's ended up being the worst piece of literature I've ever seen and I still cringe about it now. I just want to feel like I'm contributing. There's some things that I really want to write about, especially about payneland or palasaki... BUT IT'S LIKE MY BRAIN SHATTERS INTO A MILLION PIECES AND SCATTERS ACROSS MY ROOM INTO TINY CREVICES NOT EVEN A MAGNIFYING GLASS COULD FIND...So PLEASE if anyone has any tips on how I can become a decent writer...please let me know... 🍽️
PLEASE WRITE!! EVEN "BAD" FANFICTION IS STILL GOOD, IT WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN PEOPLE USING AI TO WRITE.
There's always this unfair expectation for fan fiction to be amazing and as good as a published novel, but the whole point of it is to have fun!! write it for you, don't worry about other people, just write whatever you would want to read. And if people like it, awesome! If they don't, at least you would have had fun writing it!
Go forth and write terrible fan fiction, I'd still read it!!
And since then, I have written many terrible fanfictions that I had an absolute blast writing and even giggled at some of the very confusing lines. It's great, really. Thanks so much for this!🥹

Ive been thinking. Edwin dropping the whole "I am dead, Charles." Bomb surely didn't register as something insane in Charles's mind. Just a simple "Oh." Then going on to acting like he and Edwin had been friends since the beginning of time. No way payneland wasn't at least going to be canon
