Illia Thorne, Half Elf Barbarian

Once a member of the guard for a noble house, Illia began to show signs of instability and psychosis after returning from conflict. She has never divulged what happened then, but it has stuck with her ever since. Constant headaches, hallucinations, and the inability to properly think, understand, or even communicate drove some to think her possessed or cursed, shunning her. Around the same time, she lost her family either to illness or as collateral from those who despised her and the family she guarded. Flying into a rage, the warrior hunted down those that harmed her kin, slew them, and devoured their flesh. Affliction of the mind or curse from an unknown entity no longer mattered and she was dispatched to the wilds. Now she travels with her husband and a teddy bear that calms her when times are trying.

Bitty, Trixie Druid

A druid from the heart of the forest, daughter of a pixie and a gnome, Bitty is an eccentric sort. She has a want to please, to make laugh, to entertain, and so she does. Juggling, tumbling, and eating the flames from match sticks is how she garners a crowd. Shifting her size from a mere two feet tall to as small as two inches is how she sneaks around and keeps an eye on the balance of the world. She’s always willing to try new things, especially if it garners her some attention. Beyond a constant goal of fame, few know what drives her to take on dangerous tasks and throw herself into the line of combat with foes multiple times her size.

Torrek Ironstorm, Hill Dwarf Cleric

During the Thunderhill Wars that wreaked havoc across the Dwarven Hills far to the west some fifty years ago, Torrek made a name for himself and brought honor to his already prestigious family. Since then, he has been traveling the wilds with his three retainers to bring the justice of the storm to those that would dare harm innocents. He breaks bread with the poor folk and tends to the needy as if they were his kin. Despite his flashy attire, he views himself as no better than the common folk. His retainers are an older hill dwarf that was his mentor in many ways, Koffren; A squire half his age appointed him when he became a knight, Ashmur; and Worrick, a Stout Halfling from a noble house allied with the Ironstorms.

Rik Moony, Faunus Paladin

Rik is the oldest of two children, born to a chef father and a huntress mother. He is a faunus, though his attribute is not immediately evident. He shows the characteristics of a great bear in combat, revealing sharp claws and a curious increase in physical size and body hair. His main weapon is an unshifting axe-rifle named Nighttime, an heirloom he inherited from his grandfather before passing. Rik’s Semblance works in tandem with his heritage in the form of Shapeshifting. Shapeshifting allows him to take the form of a great brown bear and barrel into foes while taking decreased damage. He has a vast amount of endurance and physical strength because of these attributes, though his docile and often jolly nature belies such things.

Fheng, Half-Orc Druid

A sage of the wilds with a hunger for knowledge and power, Fheng is a blunt and often obtuse half-orc. He has little care for others that can not aid his quest for power and even less patience for those he deems unintelligent. At a young age, he made the mistake of bargaining with nefarious creatures to boost the boundaries of his mind and now seeks to reclaim what was taken. With his greatclub in hand and the powers of nature at his beck and call, Fheng wanders on.

Makriella, Tiefling Fighter

A long-term soldier turned adventurer, Makriella fits into most crowds by breaking the ice with her lewd remarks and crude humor. She is a dextrous fighter that favors quick-footed combat and the use of her yew longbow rather than brute force. She manipulates her long tail to distract foes that get too close and slices them to ribbon with her blade. A free spirit who is often deemed a loose cannon, she hides the fears that haunt her after a crushing defeat at the hands of some nefarious creature as best she can.

Breewyn “Badger” Barrows, Forest Gnome Ranger

More than a century ago, Breewyn separated herself from the tribe that she and Orryn the Little Wolf share and yet she has always supported them from afar. With skills that she has developed in her seclusion, she has turned the tides of battle numerous times, making sure a raid went in their favor. While her enemies would suggest otherwise, she has a great sense of empathy and feels that all things are brought about by a greater plan. Bree does her best to protect the few people she tolerates but is more than happy to live and let live when possible.

Orryn “Little Wolf” Timbers, Forest Gnome Barbarian

A wanderer and marauder of the Great Wilds, Orryn has lived his life in the forests combating tribes and intruders alike. He wields a greatsword as tall as himself with ease and proves that might is all that matters when it comes to combat. While out wandering the woods with a few companions, his tribes village was decimated. He now seeks vengeance at any cost, following the tracks of his foes in hopes of sinking his blade in their chests.

Elja Stonefist, Hill Dwarf Monk

A hero among her people in the far off hills, Elja has much more brawn than she has brain. She obviously means well and does her best to respect those that she meets - no matter their background or status - but does not have the skill with words that so many others do and thus comes off as boorish and dense. She tries to use big words to sound smarter than she truly is, only to make a minor fool of herself. Nevertheless those that know her trust and care for her for deeds done to protect the people. After being recruited by a thane that had been a child-hood friend, rising up through his ranks in hopes of overthrowing the tyrannical Mountain King, she now wanders the lands in search of her family that was whisked away in the midst of the war. The Mountain King roars at her heels every step of the way.

Mirren Moonbreeze, High Elf Cleric

Growing up in a mysterious elven monastery of sorts, Mirren was blessed with visions from a young age. They see signs from the goddess of the moon in most daily things, at least that is what they tell others. There was little traffic through the region in which Mirren lived and the monastery was content to stay sheltered from the rest of the world, resulting in the cleric developing a skewed social attitude as well as a great suspicion of strangers. When a vision came to them in the night some time after their hundredth birthday, Mirren set out with the blessing of their monastic family and now seeks a way to prevent the loss of sacred scrolls at the hands of a villainous cult who deems them heretical.

Wellan Thornhill, Lightfoot Halfling Warlock

A charismatic young Lightfoot Halfling who enjoys taking what he deems his even from the pockets of others. When not tricking folks into buying junk for outrageous prices or forging documents to obtain special access into certain areas where he can acquire better, richer targets, Wellan spends his time at taverns. He flirts and falls in love with every pretty face that walks through the door, cracks inappropriate jokes at every occasion, and clobbers those who cross him with a simple wooden staff that stands only as tall as himself.

Jhona Ukhulori, Dragonborn Paladin

Strong of body and uncharacteristically charming, Jhona does her best to fight for those who can not fight for themselves. She cleaves down foes with mighty swings off her halberd whenever possible, always in the name of the Greater Good, and switches swiftly to her heavy oaken shield and mace when going on the defensive. Once a guardian of her people, a mistake that cost many lives has driven her to wander and seek forgiveness from the souls that haunt her.

So you’ve found your way to the tavern...

The Tavern of the Crescent Moon has been here for two hundred years. It has survived wars, raids from pirates and sea-savages, and even a city fire or two. Here on the water’s edge, hidden away from the view of the more ‘respectable’ areas of town, we feed and host and entertain adventurers.

Looking for a place to hide? We won’t ask ya too many questions, so long as you can pay.

Looking for work or to hire? Mind your words and try not to start a fight. Or do, I’m not your mother.

Rooms are cheap. Bedwarmers are worth the coin. Food could always use a bit more salt. But the drink is to die for. Make yourself at home and enjoy your stay.

Welcome to the home of RikMoony’s role-play characters. While the majority of what you will see here are general fantasy, there will be others  from franchises such as The Elder Scrolls or Dungeons & Dragons.
