Third, claim your donor slot here! This is where you match yourself up to the creator you selected in step one.

Welcome to McReyes Charity Week! HOW IT WORKS: - We've selected ECPAT International for our efforts (find more information on ECPAT here: http://www.ecpat.org/) - Folks will donate directly to ECPAT either $5, $10, $15 or $20 - With a proof of donation in hand, donors will be able to select a content creator and a tier based on their dollar amount - Content creators and donors will agree on their prompt/idea for the gift work - Content creators will create the gift work and send it to the donor directly - After the donation week is over and the gifts have been sent, all of the works will be amassed in a zine, available on Gumroad for $3 for everyone to enjoy! For agents posting or promoting their work on Twitter, please either @ the Blackwatch Week twitter or use the twitter tag “#blackwatchweek”. Blackwatch Command will be monitoring both mentions and the tag, and will be retweeting works to the twitter account throughout the week.
Tumblr:
For agents posting or promoting their work on tumblr, please use the tumblr tags “#blackwatch week” or “#blackwatchweek”. Command will be monitoring all of these and reblogging works to the tumblr account throughout the week.
Reminders:
Blackwatch Command asks that all works be correctly tagged. Works with ship content reblogged to the tumblr will be tagged by ship, and all works will be tagged with “nsfw” as appropriate.

What is McReyes Charity Week?
McReyes Charity Week is a community event dedicated to raising money for a charity that supports abused and exploited children through the creation of fanworks centered around Jesse McCree, Gabriel Reyes, & their relationship.

How Does it Work?
See here for detailed information. The basics are:
Authors & artists sign up for commission slots based on a tiered system.
Donors provide proof of donation to authors & artists in order to claim commission slots
Commissions are worked out between authors & artists
Content is gathered and posted for the public
Who/What Kind of Content is Allowed?
We are not interested in directly policing who joins or what kind of content is created. However, given the nature of the event, please be thoughtful and respectful in the production of your works. Use best judgement.
Why Are You Running This Event?
This event grew out of a conversation about want to use our collective energy to create a charity event with the purpose of putting some good back into the world, and this is our way of doing so!

Day One: Firsts
Hello Everyone!
Mc76 Week 2018 has officially begun! Let’s start off the week with today’s prompt… Firsts!
Remember the tag your work as #Mc76 Week (or #Mc76Week for those on Twitter)! Also don’t forget to tag your work as the day prompt as well (ex: #Day One, #Firsts, #DayOne: Firsts, etc.). We’ll be setting up a queue as the week goes on, going through the tags and reblogging content.
If you plan to upload works on Ao3, we’ve created a collection to gather up all the fan fiction for Mc76 Week! When posting work, you can add your story to the Mc76 Week Collection. The collection will remain open long after the week is done, so you don’t have to worry too much about deadlines.
If you’re still having trouble coming up with ideas for today’s prompt, make sure to stop by our Prompt Inspiration Page for some ideas! If you’re still having trouble, don’t worry about it! Come up with your own idea or story, you don’t have to do the prompt to participate in Mc76 Week!

Hey there!
Can’t think of a good idea for a specific prompt? Getting stuck recycling the same old idea over and over again? Having some writer’s/artist’s block?
Fear not! We’re here to help!
We’ve taken all the prompts for 2018′s Mc76 Week and compiled a list of ideas/suggestions to get the creative juices flowing! If you spot something you like, or something you think you can work with, go ahead and use it! This is meant to be a resource for anyone who is having trouble coming up with ideas.
Here are some suggestion/ideas to help you guys get started:
Firsts
First meeting, first date, first time being invited over/staying over, first time seeing each other again after years apart/after McCree thought Jack was dead, first time seeing each other naked, first time, one being the other’s first, one of them’s first time smoking, first time killing someone, first mission/first mission together with Overwatch, first mission with new Overwatch, first mission together at new Overwatch, first meeting parents/family, competing for or working together for first place in a contest or race, Overwatch vs Blackwatch competitive events, winning
Training
Practicing in the gun range, wrestling/sparring, McCree trying to beat a super soldier, when McCree is under Gabriel’s tutelage, watching the other training from afar, one being impressed by the other’s abilities in the shooting range or gym, one giving the other tips on fighting/shooting etc and critiquing their form, fighting with or against each other makes them think back to when they used to wrestle/spar/practice against each other, working out, one being the other’s spotter or helping out, one holding down the other’s feet during situps and they kiss whenever the person does a situp
Liquor
Drinking together, passing around a bottle, at a bar together, accidentally meeting at a bar, the fact that they drink the same brand of bourbon, drunkenness, alcoholism, drunk sex, drunk confessions, personality change while drunk (such as loosening up, being giggly, being depressed/a crying drunk, etc), drinking contest, one or both having a low alcohol tolerance, first aid washing a wound with alcohol, drinking alcohol to stay warm in the cold, using liquor for cooking and baking
Protect/Sacrifice
Protecting their wounded partner, one sacrificing themselves to save the other, taking a bullet/grave or mortal wound, one comforting the other, promising to protect/be there always, one telling to other or a whole team to go and save themselves while they hold off an enemy or threat, sacrificing a career or reputation, sacrificing a scapegoat, accepting being blamed in order to protect those they care about (such as taking blame when Overwatch came under fire), McCree protecting Jack from the truth of what Blackwatch does, one breaking up with the other believing they are protecting them from something (such as what’s about to go down with Overwatch and/or Blackwatch), Jack as 76’s feelings about his own actions and goals being to protect and/or sacrifice things/himself
Hurt
Feelings hurt, heartbreak, breakup, wounded, torture, chronic pain, McCree losing his arm, Cyborg Jack’s bodily trauma, phantom limb pains, disability, psychological trauma such as PTSD, talking about their scars, exploring each other’s scars during an intimate moment, crying, having a PTSD episode, self harm
Sleep
Sharing a bed, being cute while asleep, snoring, sleeping habits, spooning/cuddling in bed, waking up together, morning after, getting to wake up to the sight of the other’s face, nightmares (one waking up to the other having a nightmare, comforting the one having nightmares, talking about nightmares they’ve had, etc), passing out, unconsciousness, coma, one visiting the other as they’re out cold recovering from an injury/illness/other health issue in a medical ward/hospital bed, death
In Love/“I love you”
Love confession, saying/doing something that actually means “I love you”, deathbed/near death confession or reminder of their love, reassuring when the other is in doubt or upset, the first time one/both is able to say the three words, saying “I love you” during sex, puppy love, crushes, madly in love with one another, having stayed in love all this time even after years of separation, unrequited love, disgusting their friends by being so disgustingly in love, PDA, obsession (possibly to an unhealthy degree)
Still having trouble? Don’t worry! You can always just fall back on doing whatever you want!
It’s mod Munchy’s philosophy that ship weeks are meant to celebrate a ship as much as possible. Which doesn’t just mean fanfics and fanart. Creating things like edits*, moodboards, fan mixes, amvs, essays, headcanons, animations, just talking about it, (heck, in this case) buddying up and playing with a friend as only those two characters for that entire week, is celebrating the ship!
That’s what ship weeks are meant to promote, it’s not just about prompts. If you feel that you can’t do a prompt, don’t worry about it! Do anything you want! As long as you’re celebrating the ship in your own way, you’re participating!
