Head cannon I've been thinking about

I always headcanoned that Alpheus made the jellyfish robots from the episode with the first piece of the Ephemycron. (Reasons I will not go into or this will end up being very long)

I think there was a decent chance that Alphues loved or liked jellyfish before the incident with the monumental. Now he can't look at them without spiraling. That must suck

Adding on I mentioned briefly in a chapter I wrote that I think Protues escaped from the Guardians in the North Pole with Alpheus' help.

Another headcannon

All the Nektons are vegetarians and it's entirely Ant's fault. It started after he got Jeffery, Ant would have a full on breakdown anytime the family ate fish so they just stopped eating fish and it snowballed from there.

The woa have a drinking game they play at the end of year wrap up party. One person has to skim over the logs for that year and every time the dark orca pirates are mentioned yout take a sip of your drink, Daniels or Dolos you take a shot, the Nektons you take a shot and by a drink for the poor crewmate who had to put up with them.

So i wanted to post this yesterday but unfortunately my internet decided that it wasn’t going to happen,and I didn’t have the energy last night to do it all over again.

So this is Eva and she is freya and griffing’s adopted daughter and she also has a younger brother named Nicholas who is autistic.Eva is 16 years old and has a skin condition named vitiligo,she and her brother had been in and out of of foster care since they were 6 and 3 this was mostly because of their mother since she had a addiction problem and she would come in and out of rehabilitation so CPS was always at her doorstep until one day they had to take her custody rights because she couldn’t provide a stable life for Eva and Nicholas so they were placed in a adoption center.unfortunately when it came to adoption or putting them in foster care they would mostly separated them and put them in different houses so Eva would run away from the home she was in to go find her brother and because of this they never had a permanent home.and these kind of situation also caused Nicholas to have separation anxiety when he was little since he was always attached to his sister Eva but gradually as he got older he started to manage his separation anxiety.Nicholas also has a giant flemish rabbit named barnie and it was mostly a gift from Eva since he struggled to socialize and make friends so Eva saved barnie when he was a baby since they we’re going to raise him for meat so she stole barnie and brought him back to her brother,in the present day Eva kind of has beef with barnie because whenever he enters her room he chews of her stuff specially her clothes,she sometimes threatens barnie saying she is going to cook in a pot and make soup with him but Nicholas always defends barnie from her.Eva also knows sign language because her brother since he nonspeaking because of his autism.Eva’s relationship with freya is pretty good and they bonded even more when freya took Eva to work at the stables she absolutely fell in love with it and wanted to horse back riding as a sport which she every much enjoys doing.

It has been a LONG while since I’ve last worked on the httyd crossover, and I’ve gotten better at drawing distinct and different faces since then, so I wanted to redraw the kiddos! And I kinda wanna make this into a series where I redraw all the oc’s I made for the project, but who knows how far I’ll get into that since this is a huge project and tends to take a lot out of me

Ninjago AU! Fontaine is very protective of her small and squishy baby brother, and Ant hates being the shortest person in any given situation

Things I think that Ant and Fontaine would think are absolute novelties due to living on a submarine (if there’s anything else anyone wants to add feel free)

- Fast food. Takeout. Literally anything along that thread, doesn’t matter which chain it comes from, they’ve hardly ever been to any of them

- Malls. They both thought they weren’t real and thought Kaiko and Will were pulling their legs about it until they saw one in real life

- Christmas trees. I doubt it’d be easy to get or maintain one on a submarine. Especially with all the gymnastics Kaiko puts the Aronnax through

- School buses. Specifically the yellow ones. I also think they don’t think they’re real and just something Americans made up for movies (I saw someone else talk about this somewhere else and immediately thought of Ant and Fontaine)

- Mountains. The elevation would kill them

- Roadtrips. Ant and Fontaine have been planning one for years now, simply because they wanna be able to go on one. On that note->

- Gas stations. They’d both get way too excited stepping foot in one for the first time and spend way too much money and buy way more snacks than they actually needed. They’re appalled with the state of the bathrooms though

- Public bathrooms. I think they’d get jump scared the first time they run into another person in a public bathroom because logically they know that’s how public bathrooms work, but subconsciously they don’t know what to do with that because why is there someone else in the bathroom with them

- Costco. They’d love Costco. I think if possible the Aronnax would do most of the grocery shopping at a Costco because it’s a bulk store. Honestly, any grocery store would be like a field trip for them

- Trains. I think they’d both really, really want to ride on a train, or a subway, just once

- Traffic. They hate it more than we do

I wonder how they would feel about birds because they know what they are have probably heard them but if you go into a forest it's a very different sensation to being on the ocean/ in a city.

Also trees. Trees are very loud. I think they would love going to a forest and seeing all the different animals and hearing all the sounds. Do you think they would be afraid of the bugs? As they live on a very sterile submarine.

Wow, birds, hadn’t thought of that. They spend most of their time out in the ocean so they don’t see a lot of birds until they’re near land

And trees too, wow. Oh, oh noooo, haha, I’m imagining them in a forest now just running around and having the time of their life, and then getting super itchy later because these idiots didn’t think to put bug spray on before romping through the woods. And yeah, they’re probably not used to bugs, which does all of a sudden explain Ants arachnophobia in the comics

I also wanted to add 2 more things and hear you're thought about it.

1. I like to think that the Nektons spent so much time at sea that they developed something called sea legs, which is the physiological ability to maintain balance, walk steadily, and avoid motion sickness on a moving vessel. And I’m pretty sure the Nektons have it since they got so used to the rocking on the Aronnax that at some point they stopped feeling it. I like to think Ant and Fontaine got sea legs earlier in their infancy when they started to learn how to walk inside the Aronnax, and later in life they got so used to it that it’s something normal to them. So imagine them also struggling a lot on land, especially inside a house. They would absolutely lose it — they would look like two fawns struggling to walk in a straight line. Like, from the living room to the kitchen would be some kind of mission instead of something simple that humans do.

2.They would absolutely love train rides, especially Ant, since he has never been on a train before, so for him it’s a one‑of‑a‑kind experience. And he would specifically beg his parents to take him to see a bullet train since they’re very fast, and we know Ant has a need to go very fast.

Oh they absolutely have sea legs and they STRUGGLE on land for a few days before their balance works itself out. Those poor kids just don’t know what to do with themselves, but this further adds to my note of ‘they’re probably really good at gymnastics without knowing it’ (not that I know anything about gymnastics and correlation to sea legs, but balance is balance)

Ant absolutely wants to go on/see a bullet train one day, and the train thing made me have the thought that amusement parks are doubly exciting to them compared to other kids their age. Because it’s a whole bunch of things they don’t normally get all rolled in one, and they end up disappointedly underwhelmed by most roller coasters, especially Ant with his Need for Speed
