Max meeting Dort. He's wildly confused and of course doesn't believe he's an alien at first... until the ufo scene at the end of the movie, then he's just slightly intimidated yet fascinated, maybe even inspired!

Moana is already leaving all theaters near me this week, that is crazy, it didn't even stay for a full month, it lasted less than new Minions, that is insaneeeee, what a massive FLOP, love to see it

Max meeting Goomi, I think at first Max thinks it's an incredibly good costume, but once proven otherwise, he'd actually be a little freaked out... On the other side of things, Goomi is surprised to find this was the grand director James had told him about, having pictured a far more commanding human.

Adding onto one of my last posts, I think it would have been cute if maybe Max had gotten to meet Dort, of course if he had been there at the end climax alongside James and Henry, then he would have. I just think it would have been a really goofy opportunity for Max to play the straight man in this joke setting of witnessing all the minions in UFO's alongside an actual robot alien.

Read the official minions and monsters book a little while ago, I cannot believe they completely left out my boy Max!! No mentions no nothing, maybe he's in one of the other official books they've released...? I think he needs some more recognition to his name!

Just some Max doodles I was doing as I warmed up to do my next bigger drawing... How suspenseful! His hairdoo is cute but kinda hard to draw, so I gotta practice that! Same with his fun hat, even if both are adorable.

one thing I adore about the minions & monsters movie is the score, I’m a huge music person & believe a score can make or break a movie.

When I first watched M&M the first thing that captivated me was the music. ESPECIALLY the first track (The Beginnings of Mooovies), it’s so upbeat & classic sounding. I like listening to it just for fun.

John Powell is a musical genius & I will die on this hill.

And I will be getting the soundtrack on CD when it comes out, as if this franchise hasn’t already taken enough of my money. LOL

Some more drawings of Max! This time he's with James, sharing his directing knowledge/telling stories of his own movies he's directed. Gahhh!! Their relationship is soo cuute!

I think it would have been really cool if Max had got to meet Goomi in the movie... cuz Max just disappeared near the end there?! I was fully expecting Max to walk into the studio once the sun had risen and to freak out at the sight of the monsters! Cue the rest of the film but with Max in it...

Lowkey, should I write this as a what-if fic? Might do that anyway...
