Bruh there was yet another attempt on trump. Why can no one aim... back in my day they got Kirks neck from a rooftop
Democrats are seeking “reforms” like bodycams for federal agents (so they have more footage to make commercials promoting mercenary violence), marked ICE vehicles (so we can’t pressure car rental agencies), stricter codes of conduct (while thousands of bounty hunters go on terrorizing us).
Even if the regime is forced to slow down a bit, their goal is full totalitarianism. Trump is implementing fascism as fast as we let him. By treating this as something to be “reformed,” Democrats are complicit in normalizing it.
If, under Adolf Hitler, the Nazis had been compelled to behave themselves more politely while they rounded up and disappeared people, if they had been discouraged from murdering German gentiles as they carried out the Holocaust, would that have addressed the problem? No.
ICE is ethnic cleansing.

One thing I’ve become a real extremist about is little girl’s clothing and hair styles because if your kid can’t get her hair wet, hang upside down, climb over a fence or run full out in the outfit/hair she is currently wearing then why not? And the answer better be both extremely fucking good and describe something temporary.
Hope you don't mind a story that also made me extremist about this issue.
Took my friends daughter (2.5yrs) to the park. Dressed her in practical clothing that's ok to get stained, brought an extra change of clothing. She sat in the mud at the water bank and played with rocks and mud. A little girl came over, couldn't be more than 3yrs. She was looking longingly at my friend's daughter. She has her hair in a perfect style and she's wearing a pretty dress with white socks and dressy shoes. The parents say "Sweetie don't go into the mud, you'll get your dress dirty" and pull her away, while giving me a judgmental look as they see the kid in my charge covered in mud and throwing rocks into the water. It felt really weird, like we saw eachother as aliens with completely different ideas on how to raise children. When my friends daughter was done playing, changed her into clean clothing and went back home. She had a lot of fun at the park and a day full of nature and play. The other little girl kept her dress clean.
There's a Tumblr post about someone finding out that "girls" toddler clothes are more restrictive than "boys" toddler clothes to the point that it made it harder for them to crawl, at a stage where they were learning to crawl.
I made one about how my toddler child couldn't climb in girl's TODDLER PANTS.
We are not a house who cares much about gendering a baby's clothes. It's a BABY. It doesn't care. So we'd take the kid to yard sales and let them pick out whatever baby clothes caught their fancy and would fit. Some were 'boy' and some were 'girl'. Kiddo loved floral prints because they're a baby (yeah my kid has always picked their own clothes).
Anyway, my kid LOVED TO CLIMB. Sometimes.
It was weird. Sometimes they were all over the sofa and the playground equipment and MY LEGS and sometimes they just. Weren't. Couldn't figure out what was going on.
Until I caught them trying to climb on rhe sofa in one of their pretty flowered pants.
They COULDN'T LIFT THEIR LEGS PROPERLY. And gave up, and did something else.
So I tested this out and... Yeah. The kid COULDN'T climb in ANY of their girl pants. Any. Put them in boy clothes and suddenly the kid is on everything again.
We stopped buying girl pants completely until they were old enough to test them and my kid is a TEENAGER now and i still make them lift their legs individually and jump if it's a girl fit.
YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO MEAN TO DO IT.
Whoever designed these clothes literally did not care if the baby could MOVE. But only if girl.

Missing hormones. Canceled surgeries. Bureaucratic denials. Late last year the Catholic Church banned all trans healthcare across its sprawl
Quick summary on why this is significant:
There are many states (including states with progressive governments) where over 1/3 of all total available hospital beds/clinics/doctor office practices are in Catholic institutions (map here from 2020).
The ban is for all transgender healthcare: HRT, surgery, adults as well as children.
It is a new ban; many of these places previously provided trans healthcare and people have lost their coverage, often the only available coverage in their area.
The ban voted on by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, was passed with 206 in favor and 7 against, and they specifically quoted Pope Francis saying, "I want you to fight gender ideology, which is repugnant to the Bible and our tradition," as the reason why it was necessary.
More information on the Catholic Church being a huge driver of international transphobia can be found in Judith Butler's "Who's Afraid Of Gender?", chapter 2, "Vatican Views".
jd vance getting called a moron is always funny but ☝️🤓 we can’t be forgetting the catholic church is literally evil

There's an open pit in the middle of our office plan that drops down into a bunch of very sharp spikes that kill you instantly. This is bad. People keep falling in there and dying. Someone put a sign up, the other day, all bright yellow so you can't miss it, that says "Beware!!! Spikes!!!"
The office immediately split into two factions over it. One says that if anyone falls in the spike pit it's their own fault for being so stupid and not watching where they're walking, so we should remove the sign. The other says that the sign is an insult, there shouldn't be a spike pit in our office at all, and having the sign up like that is just normalising the existence of the spike pit, so we should remove the sign.
We ended up removing the sign. Probably for the better. Still... for a while there it looked like it might have worked...
Nobody has ever been capable of writing a scathingly harsh and well formulated satire about the perils of modern capitalism, that doesn't just get immediately one-upped by some random food service worker talking about their actual week.

I've reached the point where cynicism is a major turn-off for me. You're not smarter than idealists, and you're not helping.
Funny that the stereotypical cynic is an idealist who aged out of it. In my experience, the reverse is true. I was an extreme cynic as a teenager and then I noticed how profoundly limiting it was, and also that "cynics are cool and smart" was a message that was being constantly reinforced by corporate media for some reason.
The note inside a bullet.
B-17 bomber is riddled with German anti-aircraft fire but miraculously survives. Later they discover the explosive shells were all inert; sabotaged by Nazi slaves working in armament factories.
Inside one empty shell is a written note: it's all we can do for you now.
The most important part of all this is that these small acts of bravery and noncompliance cannot be known as long as the enemy still stands, and might never be known. Just because it doesn’t seem like anyone is doing anything doesn’t mean it’s true. The best malicious compliance or subtle sabotage is the one that’s never detected, but makes ravages nonetheless.
A critical part of any resistance is
Do not post your crimes
Do not brag. Do not look for brownie points. Do not publicly recruit. Keep your mouth shut.
Scotland Reportback, 11th April 2026
The far right's big day in Glasgow didn't quite go to plan. 20 to 30 racist, fascists and far right nuts arrived and were greeted by a 250 to 300 strong anti fascist resistance. The far right had planned to take over Buchanan Gallery steps but found they had already been occupied by us. They were instead penned in, surrounded by people who say NO! to racism and hate. No Pasaran 💪

I think many people cannot fully comprehend what it is to endure pain and fear that is virtually endless, for pain and traumatic conditions to become so constant that they are the very texture of your life.
Earlier this week, my friend Fadel texted me about his pain and that his blood count has gotten so low that his body trembles with cold. Today fear has eclipsed this pain. He told me, "Yesterday, ten people were killed in a bombing, and an hour ago, a group of people were targeted, and five of them were killed. The sounds of the bombing are terrifying.😭 I don't want to get hurt again or die, please, my brother.😭😭😭😭"
People think the ceasefire means anything, but the genocide continues. 32 people have been killed since the start of April alone. 25 just this week. Today Israelis fired two missiles into Bureij refugee camp leaving at least 6 dead. Al Jazeera journalist Mohammed Wishah was born in this refugee camp in 1986, and earlier this week while driving home there, Israelis killed him with a drone strike. For the people of Gaza, from birth until death this is their reality.
Please donate what you can to Fadel so he can access the resources to survive this. @fadel-dani's fundraiser is #197 on @gazavetters and is hosted by a friend of mine. These donations are his family's sole hope of access to relief and survival.
I am afraid for him. I don't know how to keep him safe except to help him raise funds for his campaign. In between drafting this post and hearing back from him that it was okay to publish, Fadel's tent was pierced through by fragments of Israeli shells. One of the pieces was so large it was on fire.
I feel like my heart is going to stop from fear. We just survived exploding shells and indiscriminate gunfire directed at our tents. The situation here is extremely dangerous. The Israeli occupation is bombing everything. Please help us by donating so we can escape to a safe area and buy my medicine and have my surgery. Please donate.
