I beg to differ, while yes, there are many white males who can’t take a joke,this doesn’t go for everyone, for example me (Caucasian) and many of my friends (Turkish) are white males and we make racial jokes to our ethnic friends and they make racial jokes to us and both sides can laugh it off, and I realize that this note technically proves your point (even though it is not a joke), I’m saying this because I have seen this type of view and talk so many times that it has started to take a toll on me. 1) Yes I agree that it happens often and have listened friends tell me when they have witnessed or been in such situations, I’m just saying that making that stereotype is wrong, people can be different, not everybody who resides within the social norms borders is a “Karen”.

For last post, the whole concept of privileges is dumb and no matter what :

If you annoy someone with at least a semblance of dignity, they’re going to retaliate, no matter this foreign concept of “privileges” that any normal being will consider pure bullshit. Most people have a “eye for eye“ life view. And telling them to not defend themselves is going to make them angry and vote trump next elections. If he win, this will make him seems like a hero while you will be considered “the bad guys”.

Rant that will totally be controversial : kink are unhealthy

As someone with an interest for both psychology and jumping down rabbit holes, I find kinks very unhealthy, well not all of them (like blindfolding for example) but the more severe ones are in my humble opinion, very unhealthy. Either on a psychological level, or a physical health one (or sometimes both).

What is truly astonishing in my eyes is how people can try to “defend“ people by saying things like “They do what they want“, “come on it isn’t that unhealthy“,”everyone has kinks“, etc. The problem is that either this is very much a morally grey area (should mental and physical safety be placed before freedom or behind ?), or blatantly false : not everyone has kinks or is sex craved, most big kinks (BDSM, sissies, golden showers,...) are dangerous in more than one way.

And this is the problem, why are we not doing anything about it ? Why are we letting our future be tarnished by people whose minds are “corrupted by sex“ ?

Can’t we educate them on how dangerous some sexual practices are ? I know sexual liberation is very recent topic, but not doing anything will just lead to more people suffering.

One of the thing I hate the most about some politicians nowadays is how dumb/inaccurate they are, Boris Johnson may be the faultiest at that.

There are also more legitimate one like Bernard Debré and his worries about the bitcoin, but when you know how they work you realise it is dumb to try to make them illegal.
