Hello and welcome to my blog!!

I'm AJ (nickname based on my real name), my pronouns are they/them and my age info is in my bio if needed.

I have a book I've been slowly churning out, and I also write some fics on ao3. I also do a lot of photography and various crafts (such as bead bracelets and scrapbooking)

I mostly post FMAB & Haikyuu stuff but there will be other stuff sprinkled in there occasionally

i tried making a contrapuntal poem for hollanov, which can be read 3 ways: shane’s side alone, ilya’s side alone, or both sides together. inspired by the long game.

I feel like Ilya would definitely get some “ball and chain” type of comments regarding Shane and at one point he ends up in a group of guys who start ragging on him when he's thinking about heading out early, calling him whipped, joking about Shane having him on a tight leash, and Ilya ends up just saying, genuinely confused, “do you guys not like your wives?” There’s complete silence for a second before Ilya continues, “maybe you should give them the chance to find someone who actually enjoys spending time with them." And then he goes home to his husband, who also happens to be his favourite person in the world.

i think if hollanov decide to have more than one kid at least one of them will be a goalie. and you know that kid is going first in whichever draft they end up in because they practiced on shane fucking hollander and ilya fucking rozanov (because if your dads were casually the two best centres in the nhl and two of the most successful hockey players on the planet, then you defend that net like your life depends on it)

everyone else in that years draft thinks this hollander-rozanov child got picked first out of nepotism (because who the fuck is that desperate to pick a goalie first overall in the draft?) until one day that team’s starting goalie is injured and all of a sudden your scoring chances have gone to hell because you’re trying to get the puck past cerberus, the three headed dog that guards the gates of hell

AO3 should have an Annotation Mode where you can click to view all of the author's commentary and thoughts about certain parts of the work. A little comment that says "I spent five hours researching vintage radio mechanics for this and didn't even end up using it" or "this is an ancient Hebrew literary technique!" would make my day

In my Tony Stark Crashout era bc I'm tired of people hating on him

Here is a non comprehensive list of my thoughts on Tony Stark

Tony treats all his bots like people, not really a full point, but I just love it as a fact

He saw that his company was being used against people it was supposed to protect and IMMEDIATELY shut down their weapons manufacturing and invented a way to manually right his wrongs to the best of his ability

In Iron Man 2, he literally shows so many signs of depression/suicide, and he was literally dying, but the people who were supposed to be his friends just got mad at him for being reckles

Everyone else on the team (at least of the og avengers) was either inhanced or trained for espionage. Tony is literally just a guy in a suit if that suit breaks its just him, completely exposed.

Tony REGULARLY takes the opportunity to make the sacrifice play and I know it was fixed in the same movie but Steve saying he is not the kind to lay himself on the line will NEVER NOT PISS ME OFF

He claims to not be a team player and yet does everything he can to make sure they have the best gear to keep them safe on the field and his literal worst nightmare was them dying

Tony Stark did not create Ultron, he layed the ground work and came up with the concept, but it was the stone that gave Ultron that last boost, and him coming up with the concept of an Al to protect Earth was not the problem

"he shouldnt have tried to kill bucky in CATCW" he just literally watched the video of his parents dying and the guy who did it is standing in front of him next to someone he thought was his friend and lied about it. Was it Bucky's fault? No, but you wouldn't exactly be thinking clearly in that situation (also theres at least 3 other characters who tried to murder somone who they THOUGHT killed their parent(s) and none of them get attacked for it)

in civil war he wanted to take responsibility for the people he hurt and do his best to protect them, which is always his goal even if he doesnt execute it in the best way

Tony Stark went through so much trauma and then doing his best to prevent it from happening to Peter (added heaters, baby monitor protocols ect.)

Oh yeah, and should i mention He Invented Time Travel to Bring Back A 16 Year Old Kid He Felt Responsible For and then literally died to make sure everyone he loved would make it out

I WILL NOT STAND THE TONY STARK HATE IDC

He tried so fucking hard and so many people hate him anyway
