We are deep in Crone season in the Northern Hemisphere.

After Samhain comes a halting of growth as everything turns cold (in the North, anyhow!) This actively represents Crone season - a time of stagnant outer energy, opening a superb opportunity to examine what lies beneath the surface. Now is the time to rest the body and busy the mind!
By definition, a Crone is a woman who is venerated for experience, judgment, and wisdom. Tap into your inner Crone by maintaining an open dialogue with your Divine Self about the successes and failures endured throughout late Summer and early to mid-Fall. Consider your experiences and take your time examining why your situations transpired in the manner they did; what lessons you learned and how matters could have transpired differently. Journaling, therapy and active meditation (self-talk therapy while on a nature walk) are very helpful prompts to get you started!
It is also often during Crone Season that, collectively, we fall victim to mystery ailments. We might even suffer more deeply from what we may have previously considered as mild symptoms. I do believe these ailments are manifestations from Dis-ease â yes, the Louise Hay way of how emotional suffering can manifest into one or more ailments. This further elaborates how essential it is to dive deep into repose with much self-exploration, particularly around the following:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â What am I missing?
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â What am I longing for?
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â What am I hurting from?
These questions often stir up answers laced with pain, anguish, judgement, and loss. If we keep all these negative feelings bottled up, the ailments we suffer during Crone Season will likely manifest into considerable markers of long-term health issues.
Think of Crone as an annual shedding of what no longer serves, combined with an intake of Divine Wisdom so that we flourish in the Spring. (It is not a coincidence that Crone Season transpires over the End of the New Year and the Start of the New! Crone embodies the Spirit of New year Resolutions!)
Maiden Season follows Crone and in Springtime we are all very busy sowing seeds of dreams and goals, preparing for growth in anticipation of harvest. This is also why Crone season is a crazy mind-bustling time. Now is the quiet reflection required so that we can ensure an effective planting season!
We must do the work to identify the right seeds to plant and to sow them in the right places - and that we plant on what we intend on cultivating. If we just throw our seeds randomly in a garden without properly tending to them, none will grow to their full potential.
If our garden is overburdened and disorganized, it will grow into a gnarly twisted mess. Ideally, your manifestation garden should be reasonably maintained and behold a beautiful synchronicity; where not everything blooms at once, but instead is continuously blooming garden organized like this is easier to cultivate, enjoy and rejoice in!
Please remember to be kind to yourself as deep Crone reflection takes time. All too often when we identify what we need, we want it immediately. Crone season is parallel to the Hermit card in Tarot - reflect, don't act. Actions now will prove more challenging to complete with only partial reflection. This is why you will hear many intuitives share the sentiment that throughout the Winter months it is not ideal to act on impulse. This is the season to reflect, release, and rejoice on your deeper understanding of your Self.
May your Crone Season be a peaceful one.
