one of my favourite things about Korrasami is in addition to all their explicit or confirmed romantic content we can easily go back to the first two books and find more and stronger subtextual romantic moments than most people try to pull for their non canon ships.

I could easily pull out like 5+ moments from the first books that silently scream Korrasami

We didn't actually need Korrasami explicitly set up from the beginning, because it's there all along. Maybe that's not the true intention but the ending kind of validates the reading anyway in retrospect, or maybe bryke realized what they were writing or wanted to write all along and went a head with it

Point is this ship you get to play with subtext and ambiguity AND also get explicit canon 10/10

CUTE FANTASY IDEA!

A witch or warlock curses an animal loving princess or prince to be a frog but they are totally chill with it and have a blast hopping around and doing frog things. The spellcaster is confused and keeps them in the magical little hut out in the swamp where the crown bearer first came upon when trying to run away from their kingdom to escape their duties/cages.

But over time they both fall in love with each other and it is the enchanter that gives them a kiss to break their own curse to turn back to normal.

From then on, they travel the world together, the ex-royal learning to be a vet, while their new lover practices many different animal transformation curse. With true love's kiss always being the way to break it. In which they'll only kiss when done being any animal wanted for that time.

Sure they can just brew a potion for a day instead but where's the fun in that? And really the potion is for them to match and run around the wilds, free and happy with their new best friend for life.
