These are the 5 things I am thankful for this week * (April 17 - 24, 2017) *
Hello Hello! It’s been so long since I’ve kept up with my blog. I’m so glad to be back. Let’s get right to the positive vibes going on in my week. Remember to share this or write me and let me know what things you are thankful for!
1.) Knowing the difference between healthy and unhealthy, me. We all have tough times and get stuck down the rabbit hole, and I was there for a few months, but now? I am in a good place, I had been moody, bitchy, unhealthy for far too long. Thank god my eyes are opened wide and I can see sunshine. It’s exactly as they say “it’s a bad day, not a bad life.” Sometimes when there’s too much negativity we can’t feel positive about anything. Happy and healthy are on the rise in my life and I’m nourishing all the good stuff in my soul.
2.) As fearful as it can be, I am allowed to be emotional and let out my every thought and just let.it.be. I can pray to God and not worry that someone will chastise me for it. I am free to write on forums like TUMBLR, being a woman, sharing my honest thoughts and beliefs, my feelings, my likes and dislikes and people will listen. I know this is hard to come by in all areas of the world. I wish everyone had this type of freedom of self. Not everyone has that and for that, I am thankful.
3.) Music and Nature, combined. On days when I can get out into my neighborhood and walk (or run) with my headphones blasted, I see monkeys, waves, sunshine, butterflies, birds, flowers, clouds, and people. It makes my mind feel so peaceful to know all of these things combined give me at least one happy hour in my day. No stress from work. No unhealthy conversations. No judgment from others. No cooking or cleaning. No world news to make me sad. Just me, my feet, hitting the dirt, appreciating everything around me. It’s a beautiful world out there. Get out there and see it and bring some tunes if you can.
4.) The ability to travel, work from other parts of the world, make choices and decisions to excel my life and career, all while building the perfect life. Being a business owner is SO not easy but SO freaking worth it. I love being able to make my own schedule. My life is enriched by meeting new people. I create circumstances that allow me to grow as a person. Frustrations in my path are learning experiences. and although the struggle IS REAL, the world has become my oyster. I find that if I put in the time, I stay focused on healthy decisions, I help people without expecting in return and keep my nose to the grid by minding my own business, everything falls into place. Now a days, my business goals and my personal goals are one in the same!
5.) FAMILY! I do not mean people who have the same genes as you do. I am talking about the kind of folks who support you no matter what you do, people who know that your core is good although you make mistakes. The kind of people who just check in with you, or root you on when you’re trying to accomplish a goal. The type of people who take 5 minutes out of their day to support your business or your new way of thinking. The type of people who do not just agree with you to pacify you, but get a little heated with their truths vs yours so you really learn what life is like for other people. These are my favorite people because every day, with their interactions, they are creating in me a strong, kind and supported woman. Thank you to my family. You are amazing human beings.
