“Good thing you said ‘Netflix’ because then she has a chance of seeming somewhat smart and whatnot. First thing that showed up was Auschwitz: The Nazis and The Final Solution. I mean if you’d have said Hulu I’d have to just tell you that she’s been binge watching a reality television show called Gigolos... and that’d just be embarrassing...”

“She shares a lot of memes because she uses facebook only as a source to keep up with those around her without actually having to talk to anyone. The varied groups of people in her friend’s list means she isn’t going to actually talk about her personal life because fuck those guys and their judgey judgey ways.She doesn’t share a lot of personal photos unless it’s funny or a weird occasion.” 

 📱 Does the mun take their phone with them to the bathroom?

“Is there actually anyone who doesn’t do this? I think that’s the real question. If there are, what is wrong with them? We now have the ability to not read hairspray bottles and handsoap while we’re doing our business. We have our phones.”

Mellie didn’t get sick a lot as a child. Nothing really outside of the usual runny nose and stomach issues. She was kidnapped when she was younger, so we had to take her to the hospital to make sure she wasn’t raped. Other than that? She’s always been a healthy girl.

Aiden didn’t get sick a lot either but we took a lot of trips to the hospital for broken bones and stitches because he and Andrew are stupid. 

Mellie was always just happy as long as we were playing in general. She liked to run around and pretend she was a Compsognathus, because to her compys are adorable and she should have one as a pet. Because… dinosaurs. She liked playing twister because I’d ‘fall’ on her and then tickle her until she couldn’t breathe. 

Aiden liked to play ‘let’s find things to hurt ourselves with’ from a very young age. I once caught him mixing bathroom chemicals in the sink with Andrew when they were around 8. Old enough to know better, still too young to know they could burn their lungs. He also liked to play ‘will it microwave?’ and ‘what can I take apart with a screwdriver?’

Mellie never had a lot of friends, she had cousins she used to hang out with, but mostly she was pretty content to entertain herself or spend all of her time outside of doing so with me. 

Aiden has never had a lot of friends either. He’s kind of a one person person. He and Andrew were thicker than thieves and that’s just who he hung out with he never seemed to care to hang out with anyone else really. I mean he’s had acquaintances but that’s about it

Did they have a favorite teddy bear/stuffed animal?

Chrystianna: Chrys had this big purple teddy bear that was… way too big for her. She would use it as a chair or something to lay on in the living room.

Aiden: He had a stuffed “My Pet Monster” that he’d found at a thrift shop. He wouldn’t put it down. Leave it to him to carry around the ugliest thing in the world.

The other’s chuckle was met with a light, but satisfied, smile of his own. Raylan had to admit to himself: he liked the fact he hardly gave Xander any real responses, regardless of how much fun it was (if only for Raylan). He felt they had a very nice arrangement that way, in part evident by how the other man didn’t seem to mind it sometimes.

But his light smile then, broke into a grin and single shake of his head at hearing Xander say Blyd and him had favorites; otherwise, he said nothing of it. He did, however, simmer them down as he answered, “I didn’t tell you? She an’ I aint together no more. Couldn’t reconcile our differences.”

Xander’s hand reached up to scratch the back of his head at hearing that Raylan and his woman wasn’t together anymore. His eyes fell to the floor for a moment in thought of how awkward that was. Oops. He grimaced “Ouch man.” 

Dark eyes lifted to look at Raylan, “Sorry to hear that, Raylan. Been there, and done that in the worst of ways. It’s best to part instead of constantly fighting to hold it together. Still, it sucks. If you want to talk, judgments and shenanigans will be set aside completely.” He could be serious when the occasion called for it.
