@shetty_baba has something to say and I do believe it's something you need to hear. ・・・ This might be the first time I'm addressing this on my social media platform, but I've been pretty open about my father's demise. I was never afraid to acknowledge or accept it. The reason why I'm doing this today is because I've realised that there are so many people out there who might be going through what I am and have no idea how to deal with it. So, I've never liked hospitals or doctors. I don't know why exactly, but I don't like them. Also, hospitals smell the worst. To my luck, the agency I work in deals specifically with hospitals; so I find myself visiting hospitals regularly. Firstly, I'm not afraid of hospitals. Secondly, these days they aren't any less than five star hotels. Thirdly, I've been on this job for well over a year. But today, I visited a hospital that felt very similar to the one my dad was admitted in 6 months before he passed away. He stayed there for a month; brain haemorrhage plus memory loss. I was completely okay with being in that hospital. It didn't even remind me of him. I was there for almost two hours, attending a meeting. Just when I was leaving, I noticed a slope, the ones hospitals have to take patients on a wheelchair with. And I remembered the first time my father was taken there, the time he could finally get out of the ICU (after 30 days). Walking down that slope, my boss and I were discussing strategies while I had an anxiety attack. I remember him talking and then he stops to ask me if I was okay, and I wasn't. My whole body felt like it was on fire from within, and there was nothing I could do to extinguish it. The thing about anxiety attacks are that you don't know you're having one until it's gone. But when you do know, it's still hard to control it. Now, what I want to point out is that you don't need to have anxiety to get an anxiety attack. And you don't need to be afraid even if you feel that you're trapped in your body. You can be empowered even when you're not in control, you can be empowered even when the world is moving and you're standing still. Because you're still standing. https://www.instagram.com/p/BoEqEj_Bl4V/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=a5mk4g3dpctg
