Her voice feigned a flirty chirp.

“Well then. I guess I’ll just have to start trying.”

She scoffs, letting the man go and getting up again.

“C’mon, a toddler could kick better than you. Focus!”

She readied her position again, shutting her left eye to discreetly fix her contact masking the glow, and stared at the man hard.

"Yeah?" He just lightly chuckled at the comment she made and shook his head before then looking up at her as a smirk formed on his face.

"I haven't even gotten started yet." He said before swinging his leg and aiming to knock the other off of their feet.

Grace flinched at the voice addressing her. Turning around to see who it was speaking to her.

"Th-Thanks...?" Grace stammered in response. That's a bit comforting; knowing it's not a struggle only she has dealt with. Her eyes moved to the outstretched hand in greeting.

"Grace Ashcroft."

"Don't mention it. Besides maybe it's best that you have someone like me sticking around." He said. He wanted to protect her. She seemed very fearful and scared and Jake didn't like seeing that.

"You're not hurt any are you? No injuries?" He asked.

Jake stretched. "What a night. Can't a guy get some decent sleep around here?"

I fell asleep but I'm awake now. Good morning!

Jake reloaded his weapon from behind a crumbled down wall as he was trying to avoid being attacked by the surrounding J'avos. After he reloaded his gun he pointed it at a couple of J'avos through a small hole in the wall that had been previously knocked in. Once he took all of them out he quickly stood up and ran over to a pole that was outside of the building before jumping up and grabbing it and then swinging himself to the other side. As he landed the floor had suddenly fell through and he landed on the bottom floor.

He slowly managed to get up before suddenly a large B.O.W. with a prosthetic looking arm grabbed him. He tried reaching for his gun but he realized he didn't have it and he was being squeezed too tightly to even speak. Although suddenly he was thrown against the wall and his body hit the floor after hitting the wall. His head was bleeding and he couldn't do this on his own.

At least that's why he thought anyway but Jake was too weak at that moment. He saw his weapon on the floor not too far off and he tried to crawl to it as he heard the sound of footsteps. He didn't think anything of it. He thought it was another one of those things. He reached out and once he had his hand on his gun Ustanak picked him up again but this time he didn't let him go.
