You need to stop caring what people think. Form your own opinions, make your own decisions, ask yourself which thoughts are really your own. Do something, do anything for yourself, and only for yourself. Make shitty art, write shitty poems. You will eventually get better at something if you keep working hard at it. Not everyone is going to like what you have to say, but that doesn’t mean your opinions are invalid. Kid, put down that phone, and look up. Talk to that stranger on the train with kind eyes, ask him about the book he’s reading and tell him that Keaton Henson’s music is your favourite kind of poetry. There is so much of the world that is just screaming to be seen. So stop drowning out your thoughts, and plug out. You’ll be surprised at how good it feels.

Puerto Galera is the northwesternmost municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. It is located at the southwestern end of the Isla Verde Passage, about 130 kilometers (81 mi) south of Manila. - Wikipedia

Puerto Galera is one of the most well-known beach here in the Philippines that’s why there’s a lot of people visiting the island especially on summer. Reaching the island is not really hard. As for us, we just rode a bus going to batangas pier and from there, we rode a boat going to the island. The fare was around 500-600 pesos for a one-way trip. It took around an hour and a half to reach the island. 

When you reach the island, you will be asked to pay an environmental fee of 20 pesos before you can proceed to the main beach. We already have a reserved accommodation that time, but there’s a lot of hostels and guest house everywhere so it won’t be hard to find a place to stay there.

Our guest house includes two rooms with two king sized bed each, a sala, kitchen and of course a comfort room. What I liked about this guest house is that the kitchenware are already provided as well as the gas. There’s also a refrigerator there so you can store and cook your foods instead of buying expensive foods outside. The sala also have cabled TV and the rooms have air conditioning. Also, there’s no limit on the number of people that will stay at the house, that’s why its cheaper to rent this kind of guest house in a big group.

After we got to our guest house, we immediately changed to our swimwear to enjoy the day. :)

The beach was really crowded with people, and its a little hard to find a perfect spot to take pictures that won’t have photobombers. 

That’s why I just took a photo and removed the people on my background with Photoshop. Lol

I’m not that fan of the beach because I don’t like swimming on the salty ocean, I prefer pool or rivers to swim on but I love being here to enjoy the scenery, feel the sand, watch the sunset and sunrise and of course, try the water activities. 

This was the first activity that we tried. You need to pay around 1500 pesos for a 15-20 minute ride around the island. Since there’s six of us on this ride, we paid 250 each. I forgot what this activity is called but its really worth the price. This is dragged by a jet ski just like a banana boat and the fun part is when you will literally bounce when the jet ski will be on full speed.

We woke up around 6am to have our breakfast and immediately prepared for our trip right after. We were supposed to start travelling by 8am because it was a 2 hour trip from Incheon to Everland. Yep, our day was spent at Everland Resort! One of the biggest theme park at South Korea! 

Of course, since it was a long drive going to our destination, I was asleep the whole bus trip. Our tour guide was okay with that because we need to have lots of energy to enjoy our day at Everland.

We were given our ride all you can pass and food stub upon arriving to Everland. We were also given a map of the whole park because its really possible to get lost if you don’t have it. 

Some of our team mates got separated with us because they wanted to check the park on their own. As for me, I wanted to really explore the whole park so I asked my friend to accompany me to the part where the extreme rides are located.

But our president told us that we have a reservation to one of the show there so we hurriedly rode the cable car so we can get to the other side of the park.

Well, this was my first time to ride a cable car so a selfie is a must. You can really see the big rides from here, like the wooden roller coaster. I can’t wait to ride that although it looked scary. 

It was a quick ride going to this part of the park. We are supposed to watch the Madagascar Live Show. 

But Unfortunately, we were late for 5 minutes and we were not allowed to enter the show anymore. How sad, but its okay. I’m not that interested anyway.

Our next stop was the Safari World. Although we haven’t got the chance to see a lion at the Madagascar Show, we can see more interesting animals here. 

We rode a bus inside where we can see the animals up close. It’s more fun if its like a ride that I see on TV where the lions or other animals really interact with the car. But this is close enough.

We were really excited to see some wilderness but most of the animals are like hibernating due to winter.

But we’re lucky enough to see bears up close. There were lions and tigers too but they were all sleeping so we haven’t got the chance to really check on them. The bears are all super cute, one bear waved at us too! 

There’s a  photo booth after the ride and we thought it was free so we tried it, but unfortunately its not. And since we don’t have much pocket money, we didn’t buy our picture. Haha.

After Safari World, me and my friend decided to try the rides so we rode another cable car to go that part of the park. It was a bit scary because its really high and you don’t have a seat belt or anything, but its fun.

The wooden roller coaster is really cool, but unfortunately, Everland needed to close it that time due to weather condition. I better try this ride on my next trip when it’s not winter.

The snow was really piling up so these dwarfies needed to clean them. They’re all cute in their costumes.

This is another roller coaster ride but its also closed due to weather condition. How sad.

You can see lots of couples at Everland. Seems like everyone is on a date. And oh, the wooden roller coaster in a closer shot.

Now this is an extreme ride! I forgot what its called but this is really awesome! It felt like my soul was taken away that time. Its scary, but fun! We needed to remove everything that might fall during the ride because you’ll be turned 360 degrees on this.

This is another scary ride and its called, “Let’s twist” and you’ll literally twist on this. You’ll be thrown to different angle while your sit is being twisted 360 degrees. I really can’t explain how but this is a must-ride when going to Everland.

This is one of the lamest attraction that we tried. Haha. We don’t have any idea what this was, so we just tried it. And apparently, its for kids. This is a 5d show like we have in the Philippines. But you’ll watch a cartoon here.

Too bad I haven’t got to try their ice cream. I was really curious how this ice cream taste like because it doesn’t look like an ice cream to me. 

Finally, lunch time. We had a free meal here at Alpine food fair. The food was served really quick here that makes it looked like it won’t taste good.

As we explore the park, me and my friend got separated from our team mates, and this time we didn’t plan to. And guess what, we got lost! We didn’t have any money, because our things were on our bus and we didn’t have phone to contact our friends or tour guide. We were really nervous that time because its getting late. It was like around 6PM and we were supposed to meet up by 6:30 at the exit but we had no idea how to get there. We asked some people for directions but we couldn’t understand their instructions. I wasn’t able to took night pictures of the park because we’re nervous we’ll be forgotten by our tour guide. Lol. The park was prettier at night because of the christmas lights everywhere.

Luckily, one of our team mate saw us and apparently, everyone was looking for us too. Now that’s a good experience back then.

We got a very nice dinner for our second day at Korea. We had beef and lots of tasty stuff (I don’t know what they called). After our dinner, we headed straight to the hotel for a good night rest.
