- I’ve been in les mis twice

- on top of being cast, I was also a set and costume design lead and a tech swing for one of those productions! (those 5 months were the busiest I’ve been in my entire life)

Hey so I thought we as userbase should organize spontaneous blackout protest against shapes inc ads here. I thought Feb 26th would be a good date (so ppl has 72 hrs notice if they want to participate), we would log off for 24hrs to show tumblr we are not okay with that (and also for shapes to get less ad revenue for a day in a process lol). Tag would be 'anti shapes inc protest'

okay, serious lotr post aside, what if we took Sharpe and dropped him in to The Fellowship of the Ring with the Chosen Men?

i feel like things would be VERY interesting. (If nothing else because watching the Chosen Men and/or a crack company of the 95th rifles absolutely ANNIHILATE orcs in Moria would be fun as hell. or one of the other major setpiece battles in the later films)

what would the ring offer sharp? would he be tempted? would it be a similar temptation to boromir, for wanting the ring to protect his homeland?

but boromir was the son of the leader of gondor. sharpe is a man raised from the ranks. his ambitions are not so grand. Men to take into battle in France, that's the loftiest goal to which he's aspired.
