the post: i use it/its pronouns. i put a lot of thought into deciding which pronouns fit me best, and i landed on these. i promise that you are giving me zero new information when you explain to me unsolicited why you don't understand it/its users, so could you maybe-

at least 3 separate people in the comments: i agree with this but i feel like i have a unique and nuanced perspective on it/its pronouns... to sum it up, the way i see it, using it/its can actually feel dehumanizing. have you ever thought about that? it's just kinda my opinion haha so i don't really expect you to have ever considered before that some people on earth might think of it/its as dehumanizing... i'm not upset with you or anything, i mean, you've probably never heard my other niche observation either, which is that being asked to use it/its pronouns on someone might make a lot of people uncomfortable... yeah it's been used in the past for derogatory purposes (clearly never on you though lol). yeah people might have trauma even. but it's cool, it's all good, you just didn't know that. well now you know. food for thought 😊
