Late night watercolor

I'm still practicing on Mucha's style but this time with Jester.

I used Alphonse Mucha's "Rêverie" as reference🖌️

I've been working on a pattern for Pierrot in crochet, it took a few days but im happy with the result ! 🥳

I had to make a wire frame for his body too because his hat is HEAVY 😮‍💨 ...

Now to try and clean up the pattern so it makes sense 💪

Happy Birthday Ticket Taker ! 🧁

I've discovered The Freak Circus a few weeks ago and i'm enjoying reading theories and the AMAs to get into the lore of the game.

I wanted to celebrate with a watercolor of the ticket gentleman inspired by Alphons Mucha, he's one of my favorite artist and he made a lot of posters for the opera.

Since Ticket Taker enjoys this kind of music, i used one of Mucha's poster for Sarah Bernhardt's role in Lorenzaccio as a reference.

Ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas fait d'aquarelle et puis je suis tombée sur l'affiche de Médée peinte par Mucha. Je trouve que les deux personnages de Mevanwi et Médée se ressemblent beaucoup que ce soit par leur caractère de femme forte et leurs liens avec la magie et les poisons. Pour représenter Mevanwi, j'ai choisi des fleurs de belladonne, un ingrédient souvent utilisé autrefois dans les produits de beauté mais qui était mortelle à trop haute dose.

Toujours accro à la fic de @yumeka-chan , j'avais envie de faire Perceval et Arthur dans son modern Au.

Pas de gouache cette fois-ci, j'ai essayé d'imaginer comment les deux personnages seraient selon les descriptions dans Into The Looking Glass.

Pour Perceval, j ai utilsé un blond désaturé et clair pour ses cheveux avec un style un peu rock britannique

Pour Arthur, je voulais qu'il est l'air un peu grognon avec un style formel mais négligé comme si il s'était habillé dans la précipitation.

👀 en tout cas, j'ai hâte de lire la suite de l'histoire. Je suis sûre que @yumeka-chan nous réserve des surprises

En ce moment, je fais quelques tests avec la gouache et après avoir lu l'AU de @yumeka-chan Into the looking glass, je pouvais pas m'empêcher de dessiner Guenièvre, je l'imagine bien dans son petit monde en dansant sur scène.💃🏼

This watercolor is a parody of of of George Barbier's fashion illustration made in 1922.

He was a french artist that created theatre costume and illustrated famous fashion magazines like Vogue. I think the phoenix in the background goes well with Frisk's ability to use her determination to load and reset.

The final watercolor parody for the "The Arts" made by Mucha in 1898 with "Poetry".

For this final one, i chose Toriel because of her passion for books and because we know she's a talented writer of puns ! I wanted a soft background for this one so i use a dawn color palette with buttercups and water sausages as a reminder of her home in the ruins.

Today's watercolor continues with "The Arts" painted in 1898 by Alphons Mucha, this time with the art of "Dance".

For this one, i chose to draw Mettaton, i wanted a more flashy background with a 80's color palette to go with Mettaton pop star personnality and put some of his fight sprites into the background to remind of the stage battle in Undertale.

I hope you all had a merry christmas this year and wish you a happy new year ! 🎉 We had a difficult 2020, lets hope 2021 will be a great year !

This watercolor is inspired from the "When Friends drop in" made in 1961 by Haddon Sundblom. He created Santa as we know him today, he drew 7 illustrations for Coca Cola between 1931 and 1962 all representing Santa in various situations to advertise the brand. All his artworks are kept in the Coca Cola archives as the most prized art collection and are often exhibited around the wold.

Seems like Sansta got caught by an annoying dog this year ! Better be on the nice list or you're gonna have a bad time !
