The Lonely Island 'Boombox (Ft. Julian Casablancas)'

Comedy hip-hop crooners The Lonely Island recruited the unmistakable drawl of The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas for the beautifully comic smash 'Boombox', off of their LP 'Incredibad'.

(Comedy aside, this is actually a pretty mean tune).

Sampha 'Too Much'

London lad Sampha has released the solo version of this track 'Too Much', which is now notoriously & arguably better known as a large part of Drake's single of the same name, off of his September release 'Nothing Was The Same'.

Already attracting mainstream America's attention, Sampha & his beautiful, soulful tones best gear up for a massive 2014.

8Eyes 'House Clubs is for Weirdos Only'

Newcastle-based house duo 8Eyes took to SoundCloud earlier this week to drop their latest banger, 'House Clubs is for Weirdos Only'.

The euphoria of a hazy, 2am Friday night skank on the dancefloor is so apparent with this one. A massive banger for all of the bassheads out there, with a tasteful vox sample to boot. Big.

Disclosure 'You & Me (Ft. Eliza Dolittle) (Baauer RMX)' 

I'm both ashamed & enamoured that I'm just coming across this smashing Baauer remix of Disclosure's summer 2013 deep house banger 'You & Me', featuring the vocal talents of Eliza Dolittle.

There is a great element of retaining the relevance & appeal of the original whilst creating a banger of a track in it's own right by the trap legend & 'Harlem Shake' creator.

Baauer & RL Grime 'Infinite Daps'

Off the back of their recent Midwest US tour, many whispers had been speculating as to the likelihood of trap giants Baauer & RL Grime collaborating, & they weren't wrong.

'Infinite Daps' is that very collaboration; laced with 808s, kicks & snares. This track is bound to have the trap nation skanking & keeping themselves warm through these cold winter months.

This week's stand-out track, & considered worthy of the Lazy Penguin archives, is the melodic, mesmerising & spell-binding sound of 'Scar Tissue', by legendary Cali alt rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The first track off of the band's seventh studio album 'Californication', 'Scar Tissue' was produced by highly acclaimed mega producer Rick Rubin, & is filled with slide guitar solos & strong vibes of freedom induced spirit.

Ella Eyre 'Deeper'

The soulful, urban tones of Ella Eyre, the voice at the forefront of Rudimental's gargantuan summer smash 'Waiting All Night', has dropped a little taster of what's to come from the up & coming songstress in 2014.
