These vibes
Still loving this artist Black Marble aka Chris Stewart. He’s released records on Hardly Art and Ghostly International. xoxo
California days
Pretty remarkable that the indie "band" Day Wave is actually just one guy- Jackson Phillips. He's originally from Oakland and recently moved to my very own hometown, Echo Park. Check out his other track "Gone" as well. It's one of my faves.
Toi et moi
Suberp producing from this Parisian duo, Paradis.

Prog wave
The best electronic music always comes from the UK or Paris, doesn't it? Lately I've been obsessed with this producer Emil Rottmayer's vibe. A friend had sent me a compilation of new wave-inspired beats, made by some gamer dude, and that is how I eventually found this track. Enjoy!
Coachella Valley cumbia
I somehow forgot to post this as soon as it came out. Love this vid, especially the opening sequence. These guys are the best thing to come out of the Cali desert in recent years (or ever?)
Jana Doe (from NJ)
Been meaning to post this track, "Economics (Jana Doe x cityGirl) from NJ-based artist Jana Doe, aka Joanna Harris, for a while. Wish her vocal track had been mixed so you can hear her angelic voice a bit more. I adore her vocal style. The instrumentals are sweet, though - languid and sensuous.
Sweet soul revival
Can’t get enough of this version of “Is It Any Wonder?” by Louisiana-based Durand Jones and the Indications. That falsetto register and the instrumentation are a dream. (The vocalist here is actually the drummer of the band)
Chill beats
Good vibes from Amsterdam-based Detroit Swindle ♡:
New Jack City Beat
Had to share this house track because of the video remix Barcelona-based DJ and artist Eclectic Method made along with it! One of the most creative feats I've seen in a while. Check out his website here: http://www.eclecticmethod.net/news
♡ song from James Gardin
Atmospheric beats and simple lovesong lyrics set this track by James Gardin feat Ess Be (producer) apart from all the hip hop out there. The song is really just "a musical display of the butterflies in the stomach that one feels when they've met the one." Really digging it! ♡
Dr!ve
Loving this new track by Swiss producer Dr!ve! He started out as hip hop artist but his latest tracks represent a venture into funk, nu disco, and soul with an emphasis on analog.
Also check out his cool video set in the desert, colors and good vibes abound. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UufSf-yGGxA&feature=youtu.be
Part Time
I've been a little obsessed with this song lately. It's from Part Time, a San Francisco-based band on the Mexican Summer label. Love the vibes on the track - it makes you feel like you're sippin' on a piña colada by the pool in 1985. Think Roxy Music, Byrne, Talking Heads but with a chillwave twist.

R.I.P. CHRIS
A sad farewell to one of the greatest voices of our youth. Chris Cornell Forever.
Her’s
One of my favorite tracks from the last couple months is "What Once Was" by Her's, a two-piece dream pop band from Liverpool. Her's is Stephen Fitzpatrick and Audun Laading. Their languid, deep vocals are wonderfully unique, almost post-punk. In tracks like "Speed Racer," I hear rhythmic elements that remind me of The Smiths/Morrissey. Enjoy ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Ultimate Painting
Enjoy this track from English indie rock band Ultimate Painting:
