How long have you been playing the sims?

I started playing the Sims 1 and 2 rather late in life. In fact, it was shortly before TS3 came out. But I recently started really simming the past year or so. To me, it helps cure artistic blocks and helps me with other (non Sim) projects I have.

How long have you had a simblr?

I’ve had my simblr up for a few months, but I only recently started posting. I finally figured out the Tab-Camera option, so (combined with Pixlr) I was able to take my pictures to a whole new level. The beginning ones were scary. Trust me.

What is your simming style?

I don’t know if I really have a simming style. Some days I’m all about creativity; just making houses and sims like some people devour food. Other times I’m more interested in playing around with the sims and houses I have made.

If you could improve anything about your game what would it be?

I would absolutely LOVE to update my RAM and graphics card. My game likes to freeze at random times, as well as turn out really blocky at others. Otherwise, my game is pretty much perfect.

What is going on in your game right now?

Quite a few things, really. I’m currently clearing out some of my CC and installing new ones, so trying to save the Sims that I love (that use deleted CC) is kind of taking up most of my time. Otherwise, I made a Simself of my mother and just had her move in with her rockstar boyfriend. Okay, so maybe he’s just lead guitarist, but he’s getting there!

What do you like most about the Sims community?

I love the fact that there’s people out me who are just as obsessed and crazy about the Sims as I am. I also quite enjoy reading funny legacies (CandiSims Uglacy/Prettacy ring any bells?); there have been times where reading them has sparked an idea for my game.

What do you like least?

I really do not like the fact that alot of Simmers I have met can be extremely pretentious. If they find out they’ve been playing longer than you, you’re suddenly not cool. Plus, this tumblr you guys are doing seems to be the only way I have really gotten my simblr shown. Well, this and Sim Designs (who you should totally check out, if you haven’t).

What Simmers inspire you and your game?

I get alot of inspiration from Sim Designs for my houses. Otherwise, I more get inspiration from real life. I get alot of color ideas for my Sim’s clothes from Pinterest and Polyvore. I get my house ideas from different floor plan websites, as well as different places around where I live (Upstate New York can have some extremely eclectic houses that I just adore).

This may or may not be fully furnished. When I exported it, I had completely finished it, but when I loaded my game later to take pictures it was only partially done.

So I was lazy and took pictures anyway lol. At any rate, this is a Greek Revival, it has five bedrooms, a study/den, and sunporch which can easily be changed with the new store set screen windows or Bau’s Grant Park set, if you so choose.
